His pay as a TE was high, but if he is a slot WR, it was not...

I'm furious with this move. My favorite player going to the hated Pats. Drafted and top exciting player in recent years thrown to the trash.

One other thing. The man played with fire and there were a few times during our games where he seemed to be the only one who gave a shiiite. Hard to replace that.

Exactly Kato. Other guys were slumming and this guy was 🔥 every time he was on the field

Some great off-season moves and I will be excited once the season starts but this one hurts. I will be sicked by this move for a while. I was really hoping he went to the Giants just because it's his hometown NFC team.

There's no reason for us not to have traded Gesicki before last season...

He's not a TE that fits McDaniel's (former run game coordinator with a good blocking TE) system. He's having fun with Hill, but we are going to need some inline-ness. That wasn't Gesicki's specialty..
although he was better than other years.

LOL I would absolutely disagree with that

He wasn’t used properly, several have mentioned that, he had some flash plays but when you can’t block it limits your ability in this offense

I am not that upset over this.

Gesicki was not a fit here... We can argue about whether or not he should have been a fit here.... The reality is he was not.

With Waddle and Hill.... The surprisingly good play of Cracraft and Sherfield.... Gesicki was the 5th or 6th target out there for us.

I think we are riled up because we hate New England so much... and the Wes Welker wound will never go away.

We were not using Gesicki... and that was not going to change..

We could not afford to pay him more than 9 million to be our 6th target out there.

                  I have moved on.
