  • Brady Retires

Looks like we loose out on Brady also. He just announced his retirement on National TV.

A year of misery for him. To play this year he lost his Wife. Not sure if it's karma but the guy acts like a d##k. Yes I would still take him to get us to the SB.

As much as I hated Brady when he was beating Miami for years, I would take him over Tua at this point. Brady stays on the field. If Tua had that durability, with his accuracy he would be a great QB, just too bad he is injury-prone.

Brady didn't fare extremely well vs Miami the last three years he played there...

Divisional rivalries are usually competed well. We never beat him when they had to win, which was not very often. In '19 they won the SuperBowl.

No Miami owes Tua a worthy oline that will help keep him off the carpet.
Brady had that for his whole career.

finally somebody with some sense, people that want brady over tua are nuts. If tua gets actual protection like u said brady had, look out.

I used to “hate” Brady because he played for a team that I hate

The Patriots and their cheating ways…….

From snowplowing to the ”Brady Rule” to having the refs and commissioner in their pockets

The reality is that I don’t hate Brady, he just happened to play for a team that’s in the AFC East

I wish the Dolphins had a QB with his arm, intelligence and willingness to put his team first over his own salary

Is Tua the Dolphins franchise quarterback? We will see in 2023

Personally I think he's going to be another Brett Favre.

We dont need another retired pro to sell us Wrangler jeans. They would have to bring back Jordache or Calvin Kleins for supermodel Tom. Skinny jeans with fake rips in them and bright colored fancy swirl stiching on the ass pockets.

Agreed that Brady is probably the greatest QB to ever play the game. As I have said before, my issues with Tom Terrific are because the attitude, the cheating, the crybaby whining demands to try and influence the refs were equally driven by him and was a major reason, along with AFC East status, that we did not like the Pats. No Brady, perhaps those things dont happen and more people could appreciate the Pats for their ridiculous winning ways over the years. That is what we need, an organization that from top to bottom has as a plan, a process, and a staff to execute and build a dynasty. Instead we have had Mr. Magoo and the annual circus.

do you really think he would have won anywhere near what he did without the cheating and the refs constantly protecting him and bailing him out? He would have been just a average qb without all of that nonsense.

Rather have a circus than be the patriots, anyday, every time. That organization is one giant asterisk, look how barry bonds is looked at now in baseball, that will be how brady is eventually perceived if the nfl ever cleans up its act. He is literally the biggest fraud, cheat, and whiner of all time in pro sports, he makes roid cakes lebron look like the terminator in terms of toughness and heart, and legitimacy.

Shula called it correct by calling the pats nothing but cheats, problem is most people don't want to say the truth and possibly offend anybody, that's why shula was so great, he had great character.

In 2000 the Patriots went 5-11

After the attacks on 9/11 the PATRIOTS seemed to have more then luck on their side that season

They went from 5-11 in 2000 to 11-5 in 2001, with a 22nd ranked Tom Brady who only threw 18 TDs and almost as many INTs

The CHEATING started then and only got worse as the NFL Company helped build their dynasty

It is pretty hard to be a starting QB of a team like that and still be liked by anyone outside that corrupt organization

I wish Brady the best in all his future endeavors and I hope Belichick retires before winning more games then Coach Shula

Is this a metaphorical smokescreen, or is someone affiliated with the NFL burnig massive quantities of (what?) which is blotting out radio waves, scrambling TV transmission, destroying internet infrastructure, and chokng people to the point that they cant discuss the obvious conspiracy happening right before our eyes? Curious people want to know.

No conspiracy at the NFL....911 happened in New York, not Boston. If that was true, the NFL would have rigged Giants and Jets games.

I do believe there are times though when the officiating crew gets instructed to take a closer look at the visiting team, especially when the Dolphins play in Buffalo, or Foxboro.

That opinion may also be a result of me being a Dolphins fan(atic)!

Neither the Giants or the stej have a name that would resonate across the country., in the face of terrorist threats, quite the same as "PATRIOTS"

Yes, but put the word "New York" in any conversation at that time and people's ears pricked up. I don't buy it. Not a big conspiracy theorist though. Takes too many people to agree on something for it to be effective. Read my post at the bottom of this thread and that sums up my feelings on this topic.

Which team name in the NFL would bring Americans together as a country and spark morale

The JETS😳…….I don’t think so…….The Giants…….Nah…….The Patriots? It’s the perfect name for what they intended on doing

                Patriot

                noun
                1. 1. a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.

Well, that reasoning went over my head. I guess I am one of the minority of fans out there that did not know that is why NE won all those SuperBowls. I thought it was a superior coaching system, front office and franchise QB that did it.

On the other hand I could see around 2001 for maybe a few years this conspiracy in the offices of the NFL could have played out BUT up until 2019!!!!
That, coincidentally was the last year Brady played for them.

As much as I have hated them for years and believed they protected their perennial QB in Brady more than others, not buying that this "conspiracy" lasted until 2019.

I have to give credit to a good "team 1st" concept up there. If you noticed over the years, the Pats would dump players who were ready to sign their big contract in favor of cheaper, younger and hungrier players. That is a concept I wish Grier would embrace.
