  • Aaron Rodgers

Saw today Miami Is a possibly destination for him to be traded to, wonder what the compensation would be and how many in here would oppose this??

Me personally DEPENDING on what GB wants for him I’d be all for it, dude has been a stud throughout his career and I can only imagine what he could do with all these weapons!!!

    Thoughts??

    Nope...

Grier and Ross have pissed away any draft capital we had to even think about the deal with their missteps.

Nobody said you have to use this year’s draft capital

Zero chance in hell. 1. can't afford his $40 plus million dollar salary with our cap situation and other signing needs.. 2. Tua is our QB next year whether fans like it or not.

I think Rodgers wants to play for miami... if u watch the interview after packers beat dolphins Rodgers literally says he would like to play for miami. Which was very weird. Packers aren't going to want much for him probably a 2nd from what I hear.. also cap is nothing but numbers. He would have to take less but packer and saints been playing with the cap for a long time making it work. The cap isn't a real thing as long as the owner doesn't care. Look at saints. They are 40+ mill over to start the yr for the last how many yrs and they still keep going. Pretty sure this yr they are 60 over.. my point is if the owner wants someone the cap means nothing. So don't say we can't have anyone for that reason.

I would love to see Aaron Rodgers throwing to Hill and Waddle next season

Unfortunately that would cost them $60,000,000 and some draft picks they don’t have

Exactly, we don't have the cap space or the draft picks. Also how many more years does he want to play? I just don't think he is a realistic option.

Really Tua is our best option for 2023 considering his contract and we don't have a first round pick.

We have to use what limited resources that we do have to upgrade certain areas on the roster like OL, RB and defense.

X out RB. We HAVE RB's! Mostert, Jeff Wilson, Jr. and Ahmed. These guys are good zone-blocking backs. Look at their YPC average...the real problem is O-Line. With that you can make an average RB look good. The other problem is MickeyD leaves the run even when it is working. This year we need O-Line, O-Line, O-Line! Worry about drafting a young RB in '24.

Don't forget, all of our RB's are FA's. I would rather draft a RB with one of our 3rd round picks and bring back Mostert or Wilson and use some of our $ on upgrading some other positions where we have deficiencies in FA. I agree we need to address the OL and defense too.

Now drafting a RB in the later rounds is a good idea, he would cost less and may become a star. I guess it depends on what the market will bring to our current FA RB's. In the draft, I hope we go after a starting-caliber OL with our highest pick (I think we have a 2nd, or two 2nd's?).

This would be a waste of draft picks and money. Rogers does not fit McDaniels system.

Yeah, Grier has his work cut out for him this offseason

Last season was pretty easy with all that money he had to spend

This season he’s painted himself in a corner being over the cap and half his players hitting free agency

It is going to be interesting to see how he tries to fill in all the holes this team has AND resign players like Mostert, AVG, Needham, Flowers, etc

Which year's capital will we use to get Aaron Rodgers...a 4 time MVP with a cap hit that would make us weak at the knees?

A steep price and I'm not sure he would get us all the way. Great regular season and maybe a round or two in playoffs. Super bowl I'm just not convinced.

I pretty much lived and live all my life in Honolulu other than the year in Wyoming and a year in San Diego.

I'm in Wheatland 30 minutes north of Chugwater. Wyoming where men are men and the sheep are scared. 😂
