I think this game can be won without Tua

To me the Dolphins have the better team, even without Tua, so it’s up to McDaniel to rise up to the occasion

I think its going to be tough to run the ball against the Pats. If Teddy plays well then I think we should win. Our defense is going to have to step up against a below average Pats offense. Unfortunately we seem to be a get right team against our oppoenents, as the things they were struggling with, all of a sudden they do well against us. We can't let that happen.

Its not even supposed to be cold, partly cloudy and 54 degress at kickoff. Its actually going to be warmer in Foxboro than it was in Miami on Christmas when the kickoff temp was 46 degrees.

this is my hope is the defense rises up and has a heck of a game, int's,sacks, but most of all is they get off the field on 3rd downs!
I would love for bridgewater to light it up like Tua has been doing with a heavy run game!
I want hill and waddle to continue on the tear and on their paths into the record books.

If the defense gets scored on every series then miami will have a long game because I don't think teddy can do what Tua does and lob TD passes to keep up from getting to far behind as has been the norm for a lot of games!

Can McDaniel adjust to Teddy or does Teddy try to play Tua’s game plan? You know, Hill or
Waddle.. this is McD game plan.. Skylar would of been the smart move because even if we win out we’re one and done in the playoffs.. the reason is because McDaniels can’t get out of his own ways.. I excepted his unusual coaching antics in the beginning but now I see him more as a fool for constantly fumbling the ball.. whilst still having his silly disposition..

If McDaniel doesn’t adjust his game plan to fit Teddy’s strengths then to me he is a failure as a head coach

Defenses have figured out how to stop Tua so they will have no problem stopping Teddy “trying” to run that same offense

I’ve noticed that disposition you’re talking about that is the same whether they are winning or shittting the bed

He reminds me of Tannehill who would have that same stupid look on his face after he threw an INT or a TD

I hope you're wrong too but I agree with you. I have zero faith in TB.

I’m not a big fan of Bridgewater either but I’m not giving up on the Dolphins just yet

I think Bridgewater starting might actually help the Dolphins believe it or not

It seems like everyone figured out how to stop Tua lately

So if Bridgewater can play a game without throwing it right to the defense the Dolphins have a chance

I guess since the temperature is going to be warmer then Christmas Day that eliminates the snow/cold excuse

As I posted above, I think the Dolphins have the better team then the Patriots

I believe this game comes down to McDaniel calling good plays and not making any stupid rookie coaching mistakes

This game could get ugly if Teddy has a bad day but if he has a decent to good day the Dolphins should win

It seems like you are blaming the defense for the Dolphins losses

In the last FOUR GAMES the Dolphins OFFENSE has only averaged 20 points a game

            That’s 20 points a game WITH TUA

The Dolphins defense is allowing 28 points a game, with isn’t good

But Tua has only thrown for an average of 1.5 TDs in the last 4 games, which is far from “lighting it up”

Bridgewater starting could be a blessing in disguise because Belichick was focusing on shutting down the middle of the field

With Bridgewater starting he now has to worry about more then just the quick slants

what I'm implying a dominate defense has been major factors in winning tough games'
the easiest way to a win is the defense not allowing points and in that scenario an offense that doesn't have it's regular personal or injured personal has some presser taken off them.

If we can run and not put the whole game on Teddy's shoulders, we have a chance. If we depend on the passing game with Teddy under center, we lose. (For instance, passing on 3rd and 1, or passing every down to go 3 and out.) I hope for a 60% run/40% pass ratio, but that may be wishful thinking. Understand NE has the 8th ranked defense in the league and they are going to be tough at home.

If we shut down the Pats run game then we will have a great chance to win. I heard they have some injuries in their secondary so Teddy should be able to exploit that.

The problem with our tackling is that we don't tackle. All our guys on defense think their parents were bowling balls. They try to knock players down instead of wrapping up. It's like they have no idea what arms are for.

The coach teaching the bowling ball technique needs to be let go. How many times does that not result in the runner going down!?

Agree completely. Boyer has failed to teach basic tackling.

I always list both teams injuries in the original post

They have four DB’s that are injured, three of them named Jones LOL

I’m not confident the Dolphins can stop the Patriots from running the ball

I would prefer the offense make some big adjustments so they can stay on the field longer

You know, like try and get a run game going of their own and stick with it in the 2nd half rather then abandon it
