He is getting older so I am not sure the money would be too high. I am all for bringing Dansby back! Bring them all back, man! The previous regimes let go of a ton of talented players.

Yeah they did, think about who that regime let go on the offense solely is offensive. I think kivking the tire of Karlos would not be bad

He was a stud his first 2 seasons under Nolan. Didn't suck until Coyles took over... no coincidence, I'm sure... when did that ever happen under Coyles?

He actually had a good year last year. I would bring him in for one year if he would accept a 1 year deal.

Not just as far as FA's are concerned,, we've become Cleveland with a beach as far as dysfunctionality goes and perhaps worse even, as the laughingstock of the league...

As far as Dansby goes, i'd assume he has absolutely ZERO interest in a return to Miami..unless it's to work on his tan..He was shit-canned by the last regime in a move that probably still irritates the piss outta him and he's already said he's out to get that ring (mentioning the Bengals)..The only ring he's apt to get in Miami is ring around the collar from sweating his ass off in the 100% humidity...

Ugh the legacy of Jeff Ireland still haunts us.

Can't fault Ireland for this. Dansby was solid his 1st two seasons here. Philbin/Coyles took a Top 5 Defense with Dansby and others and dismantled and turned us into one of the worst.

If Miami was running 3-4 I'd be fine with bring him back, but don't think he would be a scheme fit. Probably end up in NE on the cheap and get a SB ring...lol

I fault Ireland because he got rid of Dansby when there was no need to and he downgraded in replacing him.

Ross was backing Philbin and telling Ireland to give Philbin what he wanted. Every move made when Philbin was here was with Ross' rubberstamp on it. Ross should have stayed out of it and let Ireland have hired Mike McCoy. Instead he hamstrung Ireland and backed Philbin. Ireland got the last laugh in that deal.

                    YMMV.
