    C.J. Anderson - Plan B ?

    Would Alfred Morris be the Dolphins Plan B now that Anderson is off the table?

    Plan A - Lamar Miller

    Plan B - C.J. Anderson

    Plan C - ? Alfred Morris ?

    I have to think so. It's only March and the Dolphins are already losing....

      Well, the Dolphins usually win in March and then lose during the season. Maybe this is a good thing?

      Probably,, but to me he's more like Plan X, Y or Z...IMO, he's not that good...

        He's not that good?

        He has been only been in the league four season and has rushed for 1,000 plus yards all but one of those seasons. I would prefer Miller or Anderson over Morris but I wouldn't say Morris isn't that good. With Ajayi on the roster the Dolphins only need a complimentary back right now. Maybe it's best to find one in the draft. But, without any starting caliber guards on the roster does it really matter? Nevermind, the braintrust plans to move all tackles inside to play guard, I believe they have asked Suh and Mario Williams is they would play both ways and be the Dolphins new left and right guards.

          I guess that comment sounded pretty stupid,, what i meant to say was that he isn't really the all-purpose back we're looking for as a replacement for Miller..I didn't think Morris looked anywhere near his old self this past season, his avg. per carry dipped to about 3.5 yds. per & he doesn't catch the ball out of the backfield at all, which i think is a huge part of Gase's O...

          Agree... Morris would be a very good signing if we can get him cheap.

          A funny note about him is that he still drives a 91 Mazda he nicknamed ''Bentley''... he get's a lot of ridicule over it.

          It gives the illusion that they know what they are doing and are actually trying to build a winning football team. They are hoping that nobody will notice that they keep ignoring the guard position and won't figure out that is the reason why the Dolphins lead the lead in their own QB getting sacked and why their RB's struggle.

        I don't want us to sign Morris. I would rather use the money we were going to give Anderson to sign another free agent and draft a RB.

          We haven't even reached the draft yet. If we go into camp with no additional Guards, thats when the shat hits the fan...

            Not sure if you're referring to another RB than Morris, but Morris IS an available FA.

            And agree on drafting a RB - after the 3rd round.

              Use some of the money we were going to give Anderson to sign Evan Mathis and then draft an OG and a RB.

                Looks like Mathis may be going to the Cards. He'd probably turn us down again anyway.

                Mathis seems to only be interested in playoff teams at this stage of his career. He holds a grudge against the team for dumping him back in 08.

              Yes you are right the Dolphins insulted him last offseason with our low ball offer so he is probably snubbing us. We might have to draft 2 OG's.
