R1. DB Eli Apple - A potential true shutdown corner is what our defense needs most.

R2. QB Connor Cook - DolphinsFreak will like this. Its looking like Cody Whitehair is not going to be available and Jason Spriggs might not be available either. Aside from them I am not really thrilled with most of the players who are expected to be taken in the middle and towards the end of the 2nd round. We can look at taking Cook as an investment in our future. This season should be Tannehill's last chance to take his game to the next level and if he doesn't do it then I think we should part ways. Cook would have had a year to sit and learn and who knows, he might even get playing time if we are playing meaningless games after Thanksgiving.

R3. OG Joshua Garnett - Upgrades at OG are needed.

R4. DE Charles Tapper - Replacement for Shelby.

R5. LB Blake Martinez - LB Depth

R6. DT Hassan Ridgeway - D-line depth

R7. DB Brian Boddy-Calhoun - Secondary depth

R7. FS Deon Bush - Secondary depth

I hope this includes trading R*** T********. I've been trying to clean up my language lately. If so, add Denver's #31 pick and subtract fifth rounder for Foles.

I like Eli Apple, but hasn't shown enough to warrant the #13 overall pick and he also isn't BPA. Apple is a 20's+ DB. I could see taking him at #42 in the 2nd round.

IMO #13 should go to Hargreaves or Alexander at CB; Stanley, or Conklin at OT/OG, or Buckner or Lawson on the DL.

You only spend that pick that on Cook in the 2nd IF you have him as the BPA. That's highly suspect when you can get Hogan, Prescott, or Brissett latter in the draft. That 2nd round pick should go to Whitehair or Vadaal Alexander at #42.

Still love the Blake Martinez pick. Would like to pick up Deion Jones out of LSU at LB as well, but he's gone by the 3rd round.
