    OT - Does This Site Need Help

    Off Topic or On Topic ?

    Is there anything the forum members can do to pitch in to help keep this site up and running? A small donation?

    We haven't been members here long but it seems as though this site goes down at the worst possible times, during important dates on the football calendar. Why? Too much traffic? I think the last time was the start of regular 2015 season and now day three of free agency.

    Anything we can do to help keep the site from crashing ?

      No, a friend contacted me thinking the same thing about the forum but I had already realized the site was down , again.

        Was down for a good half day today. I was doing my best impression of rain man every half hour while I worked.

            Problem with the host - godaddy.

            The host server for the VM crashed and they had to do a restore. None of us are happy about it.

              Does GoDaddy support a lot of football sites? As I stated, the site crashes in important Football Dates, as if there is a bandwidth problem.

              I think a STRONGLY WORDED letter is in order by management. While you guys do that I will go over to Danica Patrick's house and have a talk with her.

                Different tiers of hosting, yes. I'm sure Matt will address it with GoDaddy... and there's a few things I'd enjoy undressing, er ... I mean addressing with Ms Patrick myself... ;-)

                  Hey guys. The two outages have nothing to do with money. The blame is on GoDaddy. They host the site and in both cases they had a server go down for my area. The site costs me about $60 s month total to maintain. Its not that much of a burden. If anyone ever wants to donate just PM me. :-) LOL!
