  • 4 free agents I would sign

DE Robert Ayers - The Giants stole one of our DE's so lets steal one of theirs. He had more sacks than OV last year in only 12 games and he won't cost nearly as much. I would rather sign him than Shelby. With Williams Ayers Wake and Fede we should have a solid DE rotation. Ayers can also move to DT on passing downs.

DB Patrick Robinson - He played well for the Chargers last year and he is only 28.

OLB Tahir Whitehead - He was a very good OLB for the Lions last year and he is only 26.

RB Bilal Powell - A good RB who excels at catching the ball which gives Tannehill another safety valve.

The OG market now sucks. Mathis is still out there but he will turn 35 during the season and he has had injury problems lately. So I will focus on the draft to upgrade our o-line. I know it was supposed to be the other way around to use free agency to upgrade the o-line and the draft for defense but it hasn't worked out that way so far.

    I like these suggestions...

I'd still sign Mathis for a 1 year deal anyway. Nothing to lose and maybe he can help these guys all improve.

Ayers is visiting Tampa Bay tonight,, we should tell him to come on down afterwards & try to beat their offer!

They probably won't let him out of the building before he signs. Good players are flying off the shelf like hotcakes. We already lost Shelby to the Falcons.

Bilal Powell has resigned with the Jets; i guess they're starting a RB collection as they also signed Saints FA Khiry Robinson.

Damn, even if 1 year rental, sign at least 1 of the 3: Mathis, Vasquez, or Evans...

You know you're in trouble if even dumbass Heath Evans sees it before our guys in charge!

Yes... and like him or not, he's been mostly right about the Dolphins. He thinks we'll be better with Anderson than Miller, but still have to fix that damned OL.
