As of now, #Dolphins consider trade with #Eagles to be dead. Deal had teams swapping spots in 1st round of draft, Eagles moving from 13 to 8

We already told Grimes we wanted him to stay - but not at his existing contract #. Grimes isn't worth $9M per. We want him back at $6M.

If the FO was willing to swap Grimes salary to pick up Maxwell and Alonso, then it stands to reason that we'd do the same for another trade.

Also, even if we do not complete this exact trade, we may still trade for Alonso and pick up another CB in FA. Zone corners are easier to find and cheaper to pay than Man corners...
