Matthews And Stills

In my opinion the Dolphins should trade Kenny Stills now that we know that the Dolphins gave up a 4th round pick in the trade with the Eagles.

With the moves they have made recently they will more then likely be moving on from Grimes, Vernon and possibly Wake. SO, they have cleared a lot of cap space for themselves. NOW, I would use some of that money and sign Matthews to a deal. Parker is fast enough to be a deep threat, but in a Tannehill run offense there really isn't any need for a deep threat. Yeah, I think he sucks but there isn't much need for a deep threat in a Brady run offense either, even though he can hit his receivers in stride.

I would sign Matthews and trade Stills.

I think it's safe to say that 0:07 seconds isn't going to make or break the Dolphins offense.

I just think he is a wasted commodity on the Dolphins roster and with the way Parker turned it on towards the tail end of the season and Tannehill was actually connecting with him, I'd prefer to have that 4th round pick back and Matthews on the roster. JMO

I totally agree with you. I would look to trade Stills to get a 4th round pick back. Then resign Matthews. I wonder what kind of money Matthews is going to be offered. He really didn't do much until last year and even that was not for a full season. My guess would be something like 4 years $20M. For a starting WR thats a bargain.

Imagine if we beef up our o-line and have Parker Matthews Landry Cameron and we draft Elliot at #13. We might actually have a potent offense.

If we signed Matthews and FINALLY picked up some quality guards in free agency I think they could go all defense in the draft and we could be talking playoffs. This young receiving corps could be the best in the league with Matthews. The guy is a baller and I would hate to see him lineup against us.
