  • Omar Kelly: Dolphins to part with Lamar Miller

It looks like Lamar Miller is gone too. Man...I hope there is a plan. It makes me cringe when we lose Miller, Grimes, and Vernon. That's three young studs.

Yeah, Grimes will be 33 this season and is in decline and refused to take a paycut from his $8.7M salary.

Still waiting to see what happens with OV, right now he is T-tagged for this season and will make $12M unless another team steps up.

As for Miller, his agent is asking $8M per. Not gonna happen here, nor should it. I figure they'd settle for $6.5 per, but even that is too much. From what I read, right now Miller has an offer at $5M and change from the team. Hope he takes it and learns from what other RBs have done.

Omar will only be missing the comfort of his gal pal Miko when Grimes is playing on the road....

Omar also said no one will restructure their contracts on the Dolphins, oh he must have meant no one but Grimes....

Omar should take a long walk off a short pier on Miami Beach during a rip tide.....

We asked BOTH Grimes and Wake to take pay cuts and both said no. This FO is playing hardball with older vets coming off injuries. Glad Cameron decided to do so.

Miami needs a full time player, Wake is ONLY good at one thing, rushing the passer, after that he's useless.....

This team is full of back ups, what we need is full time players, Mario and Shelby.....

Lamar Miller is delusional if he thinks he's worth 8 million a year,, oh well, i wanted to keep him but if that's the way it is, don't let the door hit'cha on the way out!

He maybe, he did ok behind our crappy OL, but at this point I wouldn't pay him that much, we could get a couple OG's for that, which we need in a very bad way, that would solve 2/5ths of our OL.....

I would hate losing Miller but I like that we are not willing to overpay for guys. I don't think we have used Miller right. He'll be a star somewhere else.
          Can we sign this guy?

For 8 mil, he better be a shining star.
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

I wouldn't pay him 8 million per year but I still think he'll be a star somewhere else. I felt like we were limiting his production last season in an attempt to lowball him this offseason

Oh, I'm quite sure of that but I have to wonder why he holds that against the new regime. I was hoping 5-6 mil a year would be a sufficient offer for him to stay here. I heard we offered him 5 which I believe is fair market for him. JMHO.
