I agree on Kelechi Osemele. If we can only splurge on one expensive free agent it would be him. We have got to solidify our o-line. His ability to also play OT if Albert or James gets injured makes him even more valuable. I just don't see us trading Pouncey. So signing Mack for me is out. I would also pass on Mathis because of his age. I think we can draft another OG in the middle rounds. Now I am starting to lean towards resigning Miller. I don't think Forte will be significantly cheaper and Miller is much younger and has a lot less mileage on him. So this is what I would do.

OG Kelechi Osemele - Plan B Alex Boone

DB Janoris Jenkins - Plan B Prince Amukamara

LB Jarrell Freeman - If we don't sign him then MLB becomes a higher draft priority.

FS Tashaun Gipson - If we don't sign him then FS becomes a higher draft priority.

RB Lamar Miller - If we don't sign him then we should draft a RB in the mid to late rounds.

I like Osemele, obviously, and I really like Gipson as well. I am up in the air on Miller. I like his age and I liked the 'flashes' that I saw of him out of the backfield catching passes. I am just happy with the amount of money he is asking for and I think there may be cheaper options available. He is not elite and when he touches the ball there are few, if any, Dolphins fans that get really excited. He just isn't that type of running back. When he gets the ball you don't think he is going to take it to the house. You hope he gets the first down but you know soon after that he will fall down, more often then not without even being touched prior to falling. He is just on his way to the ground after he breaks through the line for some strange reason. I wouldn't mind signing a FA cornerback. My idea with the post I made above is showing how important I feel getting veteran o-linemen on this team and that is exactly what I would do. Mathis may be a little older but he was the best guard in the league last year so Douglas and others can learn from him while he spends the next 2-3 seasons with the team. JMO
