Shit,, you'd think the only game tape available of Misi would be him on the sidelines on crutches! What a joke...

The fact is we can't blow up our entire LB corps. Misi is a decent player, and yes he is injury prone. He is also a solid leader in the locker room and his teammates love him. He has enough talent to be a solid LB. You just can't expect him to carry the team like they've done in the past. He needs help and needs to be more of a complimentary player. I'm fine with this. If we can add a stud LB like Jack to put in the middle, I actually like our LB's with Misi, Jack, and Jenkins.

WTF do you mean his run stuffing play, my bad you did say play and not plays, still doesn't seem right to restructure a guyy that has one play....JMO, cause I don't remember anyone on this D stuffing any thing other than a donut .....

C'mon now... this was a move all knew was coming. lol... Misi will be here for life.

New coaching staff. Hope they can get more from him. He's veteran depth if nothing else.

Dolphins restructured SLB Koa Misi's contract.
Misi was due a $4.4 million cap hit. His restructure should free up money to sign transition-tagged RE Olivier Vernon. Misi had 77 tackles last year and will return on the strong side. Mar 3 - 1:05 PM

He's far from elite but this linebscker group is one of the weakest I've ever seen. I think it's a smart move. They have too many holes to just cut him. They still can draft a couple LB's that could very well best him out sometime during the season. JMO

Agreed... can't cut em all. I suspect he's gone next season regardless unless Joseph and Burke turn him into a stud.

If we can save some money then I am ok with this move. He is not terrible but he needs to stay healthy. He can also play MLB in a pinch. We need to upgrade the starting MLB position now and add some depth.

It was his index finger... he hyper-extended it while putting pen to paper. On-site medical staff then accidentally sprained his wrist tried to split the finger.

Dan, I hope to hell you meant they were trying to Splint the finger and not Split it. LMAO!!

He isn't special by any means, but he can play Mike or Sam LB. He has flexibility, is a fair starter and would be an excellent backup. Hopefully he'll be 2nd string...but we could do worse (and have for sure recently)
