Fins restructuring Koa Misi's contract

The fact is we can't blow up our entire LB corps. Misi is a decent player, and yes he is injury prone. He is also a solid leader in the locker room and his teammates love him. He has enough talent to be a solid LB. You just can't expect him to carry the team like they've done in the past. He needs help and needs to be more of a complimentary player. I'm fine with this. If we can add a stud LB like Jack to put in the middle, I actually like our LB's with Misi, Jack, and Jenkins. The Dynamic Duo ! - BOOM! POW!

Dolphins restructured SLB Koa Misi's contract.
Misi was due a $4.4 million cap hit. His restructure should free up money to sign transition-tagged RE Olivier Vernon. Misi had 77 tackles last year and will return on the strong side. Mar 3 - 1:05 PM

He's far from elite but this linebscker group is one of the weakest I've ever seen. I think it's a smart move. They have too many holes to just cut him. They still can draft a couple LB's that could very well best him out sometime during the season. JMO"If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. Patton
