  • Mock Draft if Hargreaves is gone

I have seen some mocks drafts that have the Ravens taking Hargreaves at #6 so if that happens then this is what I would do if we can't trade down.

R1. DE Emmanuel Ogbah - I know some prefer Lawson but I just have a good feeling about Ogbah. He was exceptional at the combine. #8 might be a bit high for him but I think OV is going to leave. I would ideally like to trade down and take him but we don't know if we will be able to.

R2. DB Kendall Fuller - His injury might cause him to drop to the 2nd round. Eli Apple and William Jackson have now surpassed him and will both likely be first round picks.

R3. LB Joshua Perry - With his 6'4 250 lb. frame he might be able to play MLB.

R4. OG Christian Westerman - Some O-line help. He had a good combine showing.

R5. FS Sean Davis - Some secondary help. He also showed well at the combine.

R6. QB Nate Sudfeld - We need a developmental and backup QB.

R7. LB Stephen Weatherly - He was a good OLB for Vanderbilt and he was outstanding at the combine.

R7. RB Keith Marshall - He was the fastest RB at the combine and Georgia has a tradition of turning out good RB's.

If he gone, I want Myles Jack in the first.... I think R7 is too low for KM. Swap him and Sudfeld.

First off, let's get Lamar Miller signed. Every weakness I griped about with Lamar, he fixed. He came out of Miami so young, he's the same age as five year redshirts coming out this year.
Will the Rams or the Texans panic when Wentz and Goff go off the board by pick #7? If so let's hope to trade back and acquire an extra #2 (the Rams have two #2s). That would set us up to get Oregon QB, Vernon Adams, in the 4th without disrupting our draft strategy. We could get a CB, an O lineman and a DT(Nkem),/DE/LB (not in that particular order)with our first three picks.
If we are unable to trade the pick, I say take Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley. I think it's time to get this O line thing straight once and for all. This team needs points, time of possession and an end to the Ryan Tannehill excuse machine. Pouncey, Albert and James have been on the field together 5 of their 32 games as teammates. Not good. Of that group, Albert is my biggest concern. Therefore, taking Stanley allows us to plug him in right away and be mentored by his fellow line mate, LG, Branden Albert, who will also serve as Stanley's backup. Jamil Douglas, who will be starting caliber in 2016 will back up LG and C. Billy Turner can work at both RG and RT and compete with a FA RG for the starting job. Stanley secures our future at LT, makes our starting unit A LOT better and creates a much stronger backup situation.
