Crazy Draft Scenario

The Titans invested in Mariota last season and he SHINED in his rookie season, while getting sacked and beat up because of their poor offensive line play. They need to protect their investment.

2. Cleveland Browns - Carson Wentz, QB

They are in DESPERATE need of a quarterback.

3. San Diego Chargers - Jalen Ramsey, CB/S

The Chargers secondary is terrible and with Weddle leaving they could use a player like Ramsey who can play both corner and safety.

4. Dallas Cowboys - Miles Jacks, LB

The Cowboys linebacking corps is terrible and their secondary is not good either. Bosa could be a pick here IF the fact that Gregory didn't play the exact same position. Hargreaves could be a pick they could make here too.

5. TRADE - Los Angeles Rams - Jared Goff, QB

The Rams owner will feel the need to put pressure on his front office to make sure they get the best QB the team can so they can impress their new LA fan base. He will put pressure on Fisher and Co to make a huge splash and take Goff.

6. TRADE - Houston Texans - Paxton Lynch, QB

Fearing that the 49ers are going to take a QB, the Texans will also move up in a panic move that there will be a run on quarterbacks. Some think that they will wait until the later rounds to draft Christian Hackenberg but I don't think they will do that. They will trade up in the 1st round to make sure they get the best QB on the board.

7. San Francisco 49ers - Connor Cook, QB

The 49ers, after watching THREE of the top passers come off the board so early panic and reach for a QB that is talented enough for a 1st round pick but cant wait on because of the fear that other teams like the Eagles might take him before they are on the clock again.


8. MIAMI DOLPIHNS - ?


Now, what direction should the Dolphins go in with the following players on the board; DeForest Buckner, Joey Bosa, Vernon Hargreaves, Ronnie Staley, etc. ?

The Cowboys decision will be key. Randy Gregory was a bust. He's their ''Dion Jordan'', only difference was that teams saw thru Gregory early on. They are dumping Greg Hardy as well. I could easily see them going after Buckner or Bosa.

Weird that Joey Bosa is the son of one of the biggest busts in Dolphins history in John Bosa who, along with Eric Kumerow, made up the ''Bust Brothers''...

I agree I would much prefer option B. However its possible that Hargreaves won't be available to us in the first round and likely that Lawson won't be available to us in the 2nd round.

If Hargreaves is off the board when we select then I would start looking to trade down. Ragland would then by my main target. Since he is not super athletic he will probably still be available in the mid teens. Ragland might not have off the charts athleticism but he is a football player and he could do wonders for our run defense. If we could get him and pick up a 2nd or 3rd round pick that would be amazing.

I could easily see the Dolphins trading back this year. Why? It's because Ross is a clueless jackass. He probably already let Grier, Gase and Co know that if they intend to draft BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE, and the best player available is a QUARTERBACK, that they must trade back so they don't look like fools for not drafting him. If Hargreaves is not there for some strange reason I can easily see the Dolphins trading out of the #8 position and I think there will be more then one team willing, if they didn't trade up already to grab their quarterback. Texans, Rams, Eagles, who knows..........

Yeah, i gotta say..being old enough to vividly remember (well as vividly as old people can remember things, anyway) his bust dad, i'd be scared as hell to pull that trigger..But if we do, we should draft Eric Kumerow Jr. in the 2nd, Rick Graf II in the 3rd, etc. etc...

Well it's combine week... there'll be guys rising and falling. Already silly to me that Carson Wentz is being projected as a Top 2 QB and #2 overall in some mocks.

Correctly Titled.../CRAZAY. Bosa will be off the board by pick 4. Wentz will be out of the league in 3 years. Cook will be 2nd or 3rd rounder. Myles Jack (no s), like Jalen Ramsey (who may not play next year) is coming off surgery. I believe Hargreaves will be there at 8, but as much as he will help, Bosa is true every play impact player. If he's there, you take him, as there is no guarantee Wake will BE Wake. If Vernon is signed, you're set for the next 5 years. Jack is an amazing player, but a knee injury to a LB is not a good thing.
