  • Patriots Fire O-Coach Following Loss......

Maybe the Dolphins should hire this guy who was fired by the Patriots following their loss to Denver. Lots of insider knowledge on the workings of the Patriots team. Could bring some valuable experience instead of the unknown/unproven coach hirings that Ross's management has recently done. DeGuglielmo has worked with one of the best offenses in the NFL.

DeGuglielmo was already with the Fins as our OLine Coach, he sucked,, we fired the bum before he ended up with the Patriots!!!

That being said, it seems like all year he made chicken salad out of chicken shit with the Pats (I think they ended up having to use close to 40 different offensive line alignments due to injury & out of necessity) Can't believe they chose him as their scapegoat,, Brady probably demanded the whole OLine be fired but had to be appeased with the firing of the OLine coach...

Dave was a complete scapegoat in that scenario. They were praising his work when they were winning with guys signed off the street and pulled off PS teams.

Ted Ginn, Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker and many others were shit-canned from the Miami roster, and did very well after leaving the Evil Empire.

He was also with the Jesters. It's the Jills turn to hire him now.

Wade Phillips did exactly what we do every time we beat the Pats, pressure Marsha until he cries....

Honestly, I couldn't blame the OL coach, he dealt with injuries all year, Marcus Cannon got his arse kicked from the singing of the Star-Spangled Banner all the way to the locker room, he looked terrible....

Of course he'll probably be our leading OL man this year.....after we trade our 1st pick for him....

NE's OL was the exact same OL that played against KC.

It's highly unlikely that 5 guys performed markedly worse just one week later. IMO, Brady couldn't handle the pressure and figure out where to go with the ball in time to dump it off as the Denver defense was taking away his bread and butter - Gronk and the underneath backs.

To me it's very surprising that Bellicheat chose to fire the OLine coach & pretty much use him as the scapegoat as to why they lost..Seems like a knee-jerk reaction immediately made, before the sting of the bitch-slappin' laid on 'em by denver's D had yet to wear off!

Wade Phillips did a fantastic job of gameplanning & as you said taking away NE's bread & butter, but the whole key was putting continuous pressure on Brady; pressure that Brady never knew where the hell it was coming from..Von Miller was absolute BEAST, DeMarcus Ware started taking over at the end (Still can't believe Dallas allowed him to get away!!!) & Wolfe & Jackson i believe were seriously kicking ass as well..I'm jealous as hell over Denver's D, it's the type of swarming D that we can only dream about....

I agree... but who knows what goes on behind the scenes? Especially with that organization. He may have had a falling out with McDaniels or argued for a player someone wanted benched.

Agree on Phillips and the pressure Brady was under. Miller and Ware were unstoppable and they made the Pats tackles look like Jason Fox out there. There was one sack, Brady never saw him coming off the edge and he was taken down hard before he knew what hit him.

I still miss Mike Nolan as our DC. Hoping Joseph is everything he's been hyped as - and he did learn from both Nolan and also Phillips while he was in Houston.

Oh, side note, we could have had Wade Phillips here as DC, He was looking....he actually had to tell Denver to shyt or get off the pot if they wanted him.....

But Coyle was so much better....

Lol... they are now saying ''one'' of the reason why Degugs was got let go was because Stork was tipping the snap count on the silent count.

          Then there's this little jewel...

... Brady was subject to all manner of indignity in a 20-18 loss.

“I tried to lay on him a few times,” said one Broncos rusher after the game. “I tried to rub my nuts on his face.”
          Yeah, like that's a first...
