Free Agency and Draft

These are the players I would target in free agency and the draft.

Free Agency

OG Kelechi Osemele

DE Olivier Vernon

DB Janoris Jenkins

FS Tashaun Gipson

RB Lamar Miller

Draft

R1. DB Vernon Hargreaves - We should have an impressive revamped secondary consisting of Jenkins Hargreaves Gipson and Jones.

R2. OLB Darron Lee - Athletic OLB who will give our LB corps more playmaking ability. He would replace Koa Misi.

R3. DE Bronson Kaufusi - OV Suh Phillips and Kaufusi should be a solid D-line.

R4. OT Joe Dahl - Much needed depth at OT now that Jason Fox is gone.

R5. ILB Blake Martinez - An instinctive ILB who recorded 141 tackles as a Senior.

R6. WR Jordan Payton - He has a similar skill set to Rishard Matthews who will probably leave in FA.

R7. QB Jake Coker - He would likely be Tannehill's backup.

I like it! You're hired. If I were to change anything it would be your late round picks. In my personal opinion I think that IF the Dolphins need another wide receiver they should allow Tony Lippett to go back to his natural position of wide receiver. I was REALLY impressed with Lippett as a wide receiver in college and I think the previous coaching staff dropped the ball by trying to force him to play cornerback. Not that he did a bad job, I just think he is a much better receiver then he is a corner.

So, I would stick with your idea of drafting a QB in the later rounds and pick one up a round earlier in the 6th round and then take the BPA that would fill a position of need. JMO

Coker won't make it to the 7th but he would defiantly put pressure on RT and this a must for 2016-17 season's......
