I'll say one thing,The guy at least is genuine. When he talked about the bond on the Bears and the friendships he paused and held back his emotions. At least he is himself. Philbin I hear would speak in a louder volume to make up for the lack of substance.

With the rabid press in the room, and fans already flying banners and starting petitions to block the hire I can't imagine he was feeling very comfortable. No wonder no one wants to coach here. Our fans call you a failure before you're first press conference. SMH. I'm honestly so sick of this fan base to the point I don't even want to debate them anymore. They're all smarter than everyone else, they all know what makes a great coach or QB. And mostly they all know we've failed before we start.

Its what makes you a good coach and Dad! I think many including myself need to vent our frustrations thru Sarcasm and self degrading/deprecating humor to deal with the 1 step forward and 2 steps back of this organization the last 25 years (till 1990 we at least were very exciting) I just laugh with it but I'm already on board with Gase!
