Also, Hickey has "final say" when it came to the draft, right? Well, it's my understanding that the 'rumor' that was going around last season was true. Hickey really liked a player in the second round and Tannenbaum disagreed. They argued about it and Hickey stood firm on his guy. So, Tannenbaum told his mommy on him and got his way and the Dolphins took the player that Tannenbaum wanted. Long story short, this is Tannenbaum's team, he has Ross in his pocket, and everyone else are just his puppets. Yup. Phillips was #1 on Hickeys board. I was the only one who was excited about the pick. Yes we had other needs but I loved the pick. -
I don't need to look it up. I heard what happened. I read what happened. It's exactly how I posted it happened. If they want to change the facts, that is on them. I know the truth. The truth about Tannenbaum being an egomaniac and power hungry rang true today. I don't care if they say Gase will have final say but he will not. Tannenbaum will do to Gase what he did to Hickey and overspend and go after the players he wants. The Miami Jets are doomed as long as Ross and Tannenbaum are running this organization.
