The replay of the end of the go ahead drive which ends in a TD on 4th down. It was the first game back for Dan after tearing the Achilles tendon. He was on a mission to prove something and boy did he. What a moment in Dolphins history. The video is at the top of the Phins Talk forum page.

I remember that game like it was yesterday; Marino & Fryar lit it up..but crazily it looked like we were gonna lose the game when on 4th down Marino hit Fryar streaking down the sideline for the winning score! Great game & great to get Marino back after the ruptured achilles!
Two thoughts; still think it's our biggest black mark as an organization that we couldn't get a ring for Marino, and....that these days it usually takes us 3 games combined to score 39 points... -

his bend but don't break,well what can I say broke a lot so marino had to put up tons of points just to win in the 4th quarter.
the players where good the scheme was bad!

Just about makes me cry watching that. Look at the joy, listen to the crowd. A pumped up QB, Marino and Kosar hugging. Best of all, Fatty Parcells ...and the Patsies on the losing end. Oh Joy, oh RAPTURE!!Comment

Taking every aspect into account, competitive fire, leadership, quick release, pocket mobility, accuracy, arm strength, etc., etc.....I still would argue the greatest Quarterback ever to play the game. What a treat for us to watch his entire illustrious career in a Dolphins uniform.Comment
