  • Tribute To Shula In Song

While we search for yet another coach to restore this franchise to it''s former (long time ago) status, I thought it would be appropriate to pay a little tribute to The Don." Sometimes song does it best but, you can say whatever you like as well.

    Nobody Does It Better

    Nobody does it better
Makes me feel sad for the rest
Nobody does it half as good as you
    Don, you're the best

    And nobody does it better
Though sometimes I wish someone could
Nobody does it quite the way you do
Why'd you have to be so good?

Many here did not live through the Shula era. From A to Z, he was as SPECIAL a HC as there ever was. He spoiled many a Phinatic and for that I will be eternally grateful

I wonder if Ross has asked Don if Mike Shula wants to live back in Miami.....

    Just wondering...

I think Don Shula's a Panthers fan now,, why would he want his son to leave a fantastic situation & winning environment for the putrid stench of this dumpster fire??, just sayin'...

Sometimes i wish i could be a fair-weather bandwagoner..When i'm in a sports bar on Sunday's, i always envy the hell outta those groups of people who more often than not are hootin & hollerin as their team rolls to victory week-in, week-out...I've completely forgotten what it feels like to be that fan...

Oh hell no, I had my basement finished and have a 75" Sony 4K TV, now I can watch all the Dolphin games hidden far from anyone, that way no one sees me cry.....

One tribute I recall was from HC Bum Phillips of the then Houston Oilers.

" He can take his'en and beat your'en, and take your'en and beat his'en."

Always loved that line! Now it's more like 'We can take yours & beat ours..or if you'd prefer we can take ours & beat ours!'
