  • Rishard Matthews..

Sounds like he's got one foot out the door! Gonna miss him, he's a really good receiver with a huge heart!!

rishardmatthewsI want to thank my Teammates, Miami Dolphins & Each and Every Staff member. Although there has been some up and downs I am so Thankful for the Great opportunity the organization has given me. He is a solid WR that had a good year, but he's not a game changer. With that being said somebody will pay him a lot more than Miami should. I would love to see him stay, but the bottom line is he would be the #3 receiver at best and some team will pay him starter money. Don't get me wrong as I think on many teams he could be a solid #2 guy just not on Miami.

with parker coming on fast, his roll would diminished fast.
he was robbed by philbin a year of playing he deserves a team that needs what he's offering .

I agree with everybody but this statement is what I agree with the most. Phailbin robbed him and deserves more than what the Dolphins did to him. Millertime is in the same boat IMO.

We have two very good and young WR's, this is a position we don't need to address at this time....

ILB, CB, LT, LG, C, RG, RT OLB, S this would be a starting point....

I'm happy for Matthews having a VG year, and reaping the rewards of what he did. I really liked the fact that he went to workout with Tannehill at his own expense, while making NFL lunch money, in the off seasons. Wish him all the best.

I know NFL teams lose good players all the time and also with the emergence of D. Parker maybe it won't be such a big loss...But Rishard Matthews is one tough kid who seems to always give it all he has; there's probably only a couple of players or so on the whole Fins roster that we can say the same about..When a franchise is struggling to come up with an identity and lose the soft-finesse label they're known for, it really sucks to lose a guy like this...

I have a strange feeling that Matthews will end up with another team in the AFC East, who has a much better quarterback, and the Dolphins will be regretting letting him go for years to come.

Be Wes Welker Part II...Though i guess it could be any team in the AFC East that meets that criteria...

I have a feeling he will land in New England. With Brady throwing him the ball in a real NFL playbook he will be their #2 receiver.

He was our #2 as well until Parker got healthy and the fact he isn't good enough to be rated higher than Landry or Parker is a good thing for this team isn't it??

In better times that would scare the hell outta me...but considering that i don't think we're gonna be relevant for years to come,, it ain't really nothin' but a thing!

If the front office does their job it shouldn't matter who is playing for our rivals. I just think that Mattews is worth keeping, for the right price, and Stills has too similar of a skill set to keep around.

My question to everyone who wants to keep him is how do we get enough balls to Landry and Parker? I know Mathews had a good year until he got hurt, but I was much more impressed with Parker the past month. Parker is the physical freak we've been needing. A guy that can take a poor throw like he did Sunday and turn it into a great play. Unfortunately we need Parker, Landry, and Stills on the field. I don't see room for Mathews in this lineup moving forward.

With playing in less games Matthews production was better than Stills. My suggestion was to keep Matthews and trade Stills. Landry, Parker and Matthews would make a really nice receiving corps. I seem to be in the minority here but I think it's a mistake to let Cameron go.

No room for Matthews here, as he plays the same position as Parker. Parker has the talent and :"potential" to be our best WR ever. Stills is the stretch the field guy who will be much better this year, as do all speed guys in their second year with a QB. Landry is a VG slot receiver who may become an elite slot receiver but, am hoping we cut his throws down this year to allow more long plays.
