First offseason mock

Now that we know we will have the 8th pick in the first round I will make my first offseason mock draft.

R1. DB Vernon Hargreaves - Florida - I think we will release Grimes and replace him with Hargreaves.

R2. LB Kentrell Brothers - Missouri - We add another building block for our defense.

R3. DE Carl Nassib - Penn State - Wake and or OV might not be back next year.

R4. OG Rees Odhiambo - Boise State - We need to beef up our o-line.

R5. OT Joe Dahl - Washington State - Some more o-line depth.

R6. RB Tra Carson - Texas A&M - I don't think we will resign Miller.

R7. QB Nate Sudfeld - Indiana - We need to develop a young QB.

R7. WR Jordan Payton - UCLA - Matthews and Jennings will probably both be gone next year.

I am hoping that the front office is able to snag 2-3 offensive linemen in free agency. Yes, I really mean two to three of them. I think the Dolphins need to bolster, really bolster the offensive line with quality veteran players for the o-line and at about 4-5.5 million a pop I think they can do it.

Yes the o-line should be addressed in free agency. I think we should sign at least one starting caliber OG and a better backup OT than Jason Fox. Then I would draft a couple more o-linemen so we can really improve this unit and add some quality depth.

You mentioned that you really like my first two draft picks. What would you do differently for rounds 3-7?

I apologize for giving you the wrong idea. I didn't mean for you to think I didn't like your 3-7 picks. I just really liked your first two picks. Hergreaves and Brothers with the first two picks is a draft I would love!! I am a defensive minded fan so I am all for drafting LB and CB with the first two picks. I don't need to mention that I still want to draft Cook in the 2nd if he is there do I, or is that just implied? AHA I plan to do a mock of my own and I personally would like the Dolphins to double down on LB's and CB's unless they address those positions in free agency. This draft is deep at CB's so they should have no problem finding a couple and LB's are a pretty solid position too in the earlier rounds. This should be a fun offseason to watch............
