  • Jennings

I realize Greg Jennings isn't as good as he used to be. However, after today I think it's fair to say we missed the boat on him. He might have really helped us. He made the big grab today, fought for the first down on the other play, etc. It wasn't a huge contribution, but it sure helped. Wish he would have played more.

This was his first good game with us. The rest, NOT GOOD! So that's why we didn't see more of him.

Jennings is a great wide receiver. If anyone says differently they are wrong. Tannehill is not a good quarterback and he can make good receivers look average and he can make great receivers looks just okay as well. People on this forum are wanting to get rid of Cameron and I think that is a mistake. It's not Cameron's fault his QB sucks and rarely looks his way. IF the Dolphins part ways with Cameron he will be a Pro Bowl player, again, with another team. This organization needs to stop getting rid of players and coaches because of their subpar quarterback.

Hmmm, so I guess Landry who not only set the team record but broke the NFL ALL TIME record of receptions for the first two years must have completed all those catches to himself?? If you're going to slam him for what he did wrong, you must also acknowledge what he did good. I'm not in favor of keeping RT as he is not the kind of QB who can put a team on his shoulders and that's what we need but he isn't as bad as all his detractors claim he is either. He actually is a decent QB but not a great one and I want a great one.

seems some don't remember all of the drops by Jennings early in the year,
4000 yards passing 2 years in a row,top 10 in completions this year most sacked qb in the nfl yea he sucks !!!!! give the guy a real o-line and and some stability at the coaching and see how well he can do.
cry all you want but he will be the dolphins qb for the next 2 years

People forget that SD drafted Philip Rivers because some Drew guy didn't look great in his first few years behind a porous OL. Rivers clearly was worth taking....but the guy they gave up on is likely a Hall of Famer. I'm not saying that's the case here too - but it could be. Comparing Brees to Tannehill over their first few seasons and #17 is pretty close. Interestingly, I kept saying that SD was blaming the wrong guy for their problems there too.

If we give up on him, I only hope to God we get someone like Rivers....because my soul can't take more years of Duante Culpeppers, Joey Harringtons, Jay Fiedlers, Damon Huards, Ray Lucases, Chad Hennes, and John Becks. It's easy to dislike your QB when you constantly compare him to Marino. Don't forget to look at the others we've had under center these last 15 years. Tannehill easily outclasses all of them.

I like Jennings and I think he is better than Stills. In hindsight trading for Stills was a terrible decision. The only problem is that Jennings is slated to make $4 million next year which is way too much for us to pay a #4 WR. Stills comes cheap since he is still on his rookie contract so it makes sense for him to return and for us to release Jennings.
