He will probably go back to the college ranks, and possibly hire Lazor to run his offense because you know he isn't getting a job in the NFL."If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. Patton

Chip Kelly 2 10 win Seasons. Sparano and Philbin combined only 1 10 or over season. Instant upgrade as long as we don't let him go shopping. Maybe he and Tannenbaum can see eye to eye. Ricky you game?Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.👍 1Comment

Hell yes you bring Kelly in.. 2- 10 win season and a transitional year 2015.. Philly is stupid, Chip would of turned it around but they cut him loose early... Chip builds winners and he's exactly what the Dolphins need... Isn't going to happen though, For one, the Dolphins owner is to stupid and another Chip goes back to College. .College is a better game, hands down...Comment

If the Dolphins hire Chip Kelly then I am done. He tired a half shitty football team into a complete disaster in Philadelphia. Sorry but that college spread out and play fast bullshit does not work in the NFL. NO THANKS.Comment

No, it doesn't work in the NFL and if he was the head coach of the Dolphins and got rid of all the talented players that he did with the Eagles we would be more than a little upset with him. People on this forum thought Philbin was a joke for getting rid of that leadership council that he came up with and those guys weren't as talented as the players he ran out of town in Philadelphia. LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson, Cary Williams, Trent Cole, etc. Getting rid of McCoy makes sense if his racism showed up prior to the trade. He wants to accuse and NFL coach of being racist, saying that the reason he is being traded was because he was black? Does he not know that two thirds of the league is black and he was being replaced with three other black players? Yeah, McCoy is the racist in this scenario.

He reminded me of Saban in the regard that he couldn't relate to paid mercenaries as opposed to college kids. Philly gave him everything he asked for and he couldn't produce. He lost the team and the fans both.👍 1Comment

Agreed 100%...As DF said, and we thought Philbin got rid of talent he couldn't relate to and/or coach, Kelly was even worse in that regard!👍 1Comment

I see us hiring a guy who will be more defensive minded and have an OC who employees a power run offense. Too bad Dan Campbell could only talk the talk.Comment

Mangini over Kelly???? Have you lost your mind Cuch! LOL -
When he had Penny as his QB with the Jets, he put up 9+ win seasons twice and did it with mostly with Herm Edwards teams. He knows the East and is a defensive minded coach who likes to pound the ball. He's a smart guy who the Browns should have stuck with instead of dumping him after his 2nd season with them, but #BrownsFootball.
Kelly did no more with the Eagles than Mangini did with the stej.

Kelly'e offense does not work in the NFL and Lazor's watered down version was even less effective. For me I've seen enough of it and do not want to see any more. I say no thanks to Kelly. While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.Comment

My only issue with Kelly is his ego. In today's NFL you can't strut around like only your opinion matters and get buy in from these entitled athletes. Unfortunately Kelly, as good as he is, as an innovative offensive mind doesn't have the player personnel background or experience to run the whole show like he was in Philly. Not Inbred... Just keeping it in the family 💯🤣🤣Comment

Does the fact that Bill Belicheat was "saddened" when Kelly was fired (they are friends...makes sense) tell us anything. Interesting that the Patsies are one of the "whitest" teams in the NFL, and (thankfully) no one has said a word. Yet.
Also, who says spread out/fast offense doesn't work in the NFL. The Patriots have been doing that at NEARLY the same pace as the Eagles, on and off for 12 years. They are devastating when they play in that manner. However, you MUST have a trigger man like Brady to fully realize it's potential. Kelly didn't, thus he's now unemployed.
Edit: Yes, Boston teams have a penchant for signing white guys. It's Boston.👍 1Comment

I want a coach that can adapt the game plan and system to players abilities. Not a coach that has a system and tries to make players work in their system.Comment
