Although I agree with just about everything she is saying about Ryan Tannehill, I do NOT think that he behavior is helping the TEAM and Grimes' play on the field coupled with his pricetag and his wife's incessant problems with leaking information about the Dolphins and attacking the players, it's time to cut Grimes AND his wife and let them poison another team.
"How many people does Ryan Tannehill have to get fired before you realize he's the problem?"
"I knew this quarterback stunk the moment we signed to this team but I tried to keep quiet so I didn't discourage Brent from believing in his team."
"The Triple A's have an agenda. Destroy the defense and make it look like Tannehill is not the problem." (The Triple A's are Armando Salguero, Adam Beasley and the Palm Beach Post's Andrew Abramson)
The above quotes have been altered a bit so you can read them better but for the most part it's almost verbatim.
Again, all of you know that I agree with most of what she is saying, but that doesn't mean that I agree with her actions. It's one thing for me to post my feelings about Tannehill on a football forum where nobody knows who I am compared to someone who is in the public eye and drawing negative attention to the team and more than likely division in the locker room. The Dolphins met with Grimes and his wife at that time to explain that was not proper use of her press privileges. The Dolphins, you should know, have met with Brent Grimes about his wife at least five different occasions to express concern over Mrs. Grimes' colorful personality. At least five. Joe Philbin told me in the preseason he told Grimes in a meeting that he needed to address with his wife her social media behavior because, like it or not, it reflected poorly on the organization.
Due $9.5 million next season and another $8.5 million in 2017, Brent Grimes is the third-highest paid member of the Dolphins defense behind former All-Pro linemen Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake. Considering Miami ranks among the five worst teams in almost every defensive category, Miko Grimes isn't making it any easier on her husband if he hopes to avoid being among the roster cuts this summer.
IN MY OPINION it is time to either cut or trade Grimes. What are your thoughts on the subject?
