  • Phinzone Fantasy Keeper League Stuff

There is plenty of time for many a future discussion on rules and changes for next year. This is just a get acquainted with Keepers thread under our rules and some Q's & A's.

As Bahamas posted you have 2 keepers NOT picked in the top 2 rounds and a bonus undrafted player. The cost is the round they were picked in last year and last pick for the undrafted FA. This could be a big help for this year depending on who you had last year. As you become more familiar you will see that it is much more like the NFL and will enjoy.

Here's my roster from last year to illustrate:
    - 141 143
    South Beach Thunder

    Kyler Murray (Ari - QB) Round 6, Pick 8 2 58
    Calvin Ridley (Atl - WR) Round 5, Pick 3 28 22
    Davante Adams (GB - WR) Round 2, Pick 3 15 12
    Austin Ekeler (LAC - RB) Round 3, Pick 3 119 14
    Kareem Hunt (Cle - RB) Round 10, Pick 8 45 47
    T.J. Hockenson (Det - TE) Round 14, Pick 4 111 49
    Marvin Jones Jr. (Jax - WR) Round 12, Pick 4 52 114
    Le'Veon Bell (KC - RB) NA Round 5, Pick 4 269 209
    Chase Edmonds (Ari - RB) Round 12, Pick 5 112 46
    Noah Fant (Den - TE) Round 14, Pick 6 163 76
    Jalen Reagor (Phi - WR) Round 15, Pick 6 256 149
    Curtis Samuel (Was - WR) - 65 90
    Tee Higgins (Cin - WR) - 80 71
    Gabriel Davis (Buf - WR) - 158 213
    Wil Lutz (NO - K) Round 9, Pick 3 125 223
    Houston (Hou - DEF) - 319 311
    Preston Williams (Mia - WR) Q Round 11, Pick 10 272 238
    Joe Burrow (Cin - QB) Q Round 16, Pick 5 60 105
    Kenny Golladay (NYG - WR) Round 4, Pick 1 294 57
First column of number is finish last year followed by projection for 21.

My Keepers? Ridley is great value, a top 20 player for a 5th rounder.
Ekeler looks to be my other choice. He is a top 15 player and RB. I have to give up
a 3rd but I won last year and that is @39.

Undrafted is a Tuff choice between WR's Higgins and Samuel.

I have to consider QB Murray giving a 6th with RB's Hunt giving a 10th and Edmunds giving a 12th.

Have to look at who I think I can get with my earlier picks and balance it with the late round values.

    That;s it for now.

    GONNA BE SOME FUN!!!

    Cooper Kupp (LAR - WR) Round 7, Pick 7 74 52
    Dalvin Cook (Min - RB) Round 1, Pick 7 14 2
    Giovani Bernard (TB - RB) - 127 163
    Trey Burton * ( - ) - - -
    Mike Davis (Atl - RB) - 63 55
    CeeDee Lamb (Dal - WR) Round 6, Pick 7 57 50

    Indianapolis (Ind - DEF) Round 16, Pick 2 105 165

I think your Keeper is Will Lutz...He's a huge fantasy asset for you and I think you should use one of your spots for him!

68, agree on Davis. Kupp is a good value and I think Lamb will come on.

You had a rough year, well below standards. What happened?

Thanks for the advice Comish. To return the "favor" I offer to do your draft this year.

Then, you have a Much better chance of me not
Kicking Your Ass Again this year.

          You're welcome. :-)

            You are correct

Last season was one of my worst seasons to date

I did better my rookie season back in the day

I blame myself for not keeping up on football news like I normally do

Planning on fixing that this season and being more competitive

I expect no less. This will be a VERY challenging year: Add a game but not a bye with the added injuries. The draft will be a hell of a task- sort out the keepers, see the others, adjust and speculate, waivers and the budget with most all now in. Then the trades which take on new meaning in Keeper especially late when you can build for a run (as I did last year) or for next year. That does not include proposed changes I will make for August trades for keepers and picks and expanding keepers for next year or possibly this one. This comes from talking with guys doing this and Yahoo.

It promises to be a Hell of a Ride. Can't Wait!!!

Have you talked with Shawn. He is MIA.

                https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rank...heatsheets.php

Here's a consensus of over 60 experts (updated daily) of the Fantasy Mock Draft.
                Tier 1
                1 Christian McCaffrey (CAR) RB1 13 -
                2 Dalvin Cook (MIN) RB2 7 -
                3 Derrick Henry (TEN) RB3 13 -
                4 Saquon Barkley (NYG) RB4 10 -
                Tier 2
                5 Nick Chubb (CLE) RB5 13 -
                6 Jonathan Taylor (IND) RB6 14 -
                7 Alvin Kamara (NO) RB7 6 -
                8 Ezekiel Elliott (DAL) RB8 7 -
                9 Aaron Jones (GB) RB9 13 -
                10 Tyreek Hill (KC) WR1 12 -
                11 Davante Adams (GB) WR2 13 -
The only Keeper who will be gone is Jon Taylor althought Akers will be as well.. I pick #10 and will be shocked if the other top 8 RB's are not picked before me. Hill is money but Adams is a bit shaky with the Rogers situation. Thankfully I do have Ekeler as a Keeper.

I would be looking to trade up.IF we change.

Yes, so many moving parts to make it more fun

Hoping owners stay competitive all season

What is Shawn’s s teen name on the forum ?

I cannot make changes without the approval of our League and the 2 Commissioners.

Your close friend FT. L I think. lol

Have not seen “FTL” in a while

Maybe he is taking the off-season off

I have some time and took a look at who I think will be keepers and not in our draft. We cannot keep any player drafted in the first two rounds but many of our teams struck gold later. My speculations:

RB's- Taylor, Akers, Gobson, Ekeler, Swift.

WR's- Diggs, Metcalf, Hopkins, Ridley, Brown.

Add in TE Waller and QB Josh Allen and that is some serious talent missing from our draft.
