  • Salary Cap savings 2016

    Cameron Wake - $8.4 M

    Jordan Cameron - $7.5 M

    Brent Grimes - $6.5 M

    Quinton Coples - $7.75 M

    Greg Jennings - $4.0 M

    Dion Jordan - $3.2 M

    Koa Misi - $3.7 M

    Earl Mitchell $2.5 M

    Brice McCain $2.5 M

    Jason Fox $1.38 M

    John Denney - $1.1 M

Thats $48.5 M in cap savings, not to mention if we restructure Suh's contract we could create even more cap space. If we release these 11 players we will then have 28 players under contract for the 2016 season.

They signed Coles for 7.5 mlion?
I think it would be a mistake to let a Jordan Cameron go, with a real quarterback the guy is an All-Pro.

If Coples is on the team next year thats what he will cost. Cameron costs too much for the amount of production. I would rather release him and sign a cheaper free agent like Zach Miller.

In my opinion the amount of production from Cameron had to do with Tannehill AND the play calling. (Equal blame because they both stink) You know how most fans scratch their heads and wonder why so many players play at a much higher level once they leave the Dolphins? That will happen if they let Cameron go for certain. He is a top 5-7 TE with a decent QB And system.
