  • Fins coming's & going's

Koa Misi has landed back on his home away from home (The IR) Man, i tell you this guy is hurt more often than not, or maybe he just volunteered this go-round..start his job search a bit early. Also Chris McCain was IR'd..No word on whether Pouncey would be IR'd as well.

With the open roster spots the Fins brought Shelley Smith, Jacques McClendon & LB James Micheal Johnson back...So at a time where we should really be thinking about taking a hard look around every other teams practice squads & poaching some raw talent we're busy regurgitating the same crap we've already let go, just in case it miraculously blossomed into NFL quality material in the last few months, i guess...

Not only do the Dolphins leave a bad taste in your mouth, they’re also banged up.So they made a few moves to add some depth to thin positions Tuesday.According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, the Dolphins are placing linebackers Koa Misi and Chris McCain on season-ending injured reserve. With those roster spots, they’re bringing back offensive [more]

I say we win against the colts and lose to the Cheaters. 6-10 should land us in the top 10. At least something to look forward to.

We're currently in the #8 spot..Not sure 6-10 lands us in the top 10, more likely somewhere between 11 & 13...Even if we do get #10, pretty much all of the impact talent we want a crack at will most likely be long gone by then...We really need to lose these last two games, cross our fingers & hopefully get into the 5-7 range...

doesn't matter where we pick. Its what we do with them. I watch games where all former Fins are having success in the league (for the most part, sans Ellerbee who looked lost in Nawlins too.) We need coaches who can coach.

We remain snakebit... every season we suffer catastrophic injuries and lack the depth and coaching to overcome them.

I welcome Shelley Smith back. He was better than Dallas or Turner.

James Michael Johnson? Wasn't he in Miami Vice?

I just saw an article which depressed me. Its said the Dolphins have drafted in the top 10 5 times since 2005 and these are the 5 players we chose.

2005 Ronnie Brown - A good RB for a few years but not even close to elite which is what you should expect with the #2 pick in the draft.

2007 Ted Ginn Jr. - A bust for us but he seems to be working out well in Carolina.

2008 Jake Long - An elite LT for about 3 years then he began breaking down. Its a shame he was blocking for Chad Henne.

2012 Ryan Tannehill - An average QB who will never take us anywhere.

2013 Dion Jordan - Bust city.

2005 Aaron Rodgers ? (In 2005 the Miami Dolphins QB's were Frerotte, Sage Rosenfels, AJ Feeley, and Cleo Lemon....>Really?)

2007 - Marshawn Lynch ? (With Rodgers needing a RB they draft Lynch)

2008 - Trade Back With Broncos and then draft Ryan Clady in the 1st, Jordy Nelson, Brandon Flowers and Matellus Bennett in the 2nd round.

          2012 - Luke Kuechly

          2013 - Sheldon Richardson

I think i hate hindsight even more now...To think the squad we could have potentially fielded with a few 'hits' like that..not too mention the HC's we have passed on in the last 10 years..Wow, that is beyond depressing!

I agree. Looking at those players, and they are not far-fetched, and there were MANY more the Dolphins 'could have' drafted that would have changed the destiny of the Miami Dolphins. The main problem with this Dolphins organization begins and ends with the front office. If they can draft better and do a better job in free agency the Dolphins don't have a chance unless of course they can find coaches that can 'coach up' players to and above their potential.
