  • Thanks Ryan!

It's now brutally honest to me, unfortunately. Coaching has never been the issue. For the very most part, it's RT. He's not the guy Ireland thought he was drafting. Then again, Ireland drafted him. No coach, no matter who they are, would be successful with him as the QB. Now Campbell is going to lose his shot at the permanent job because Tannehill blows. We need a new QB, not a coach.

The defense isn't much better either. Anyone know what Dion Jordan is up to these days?

Tannehill sucks! His fans will make up all the excuses they can think of but the fact of the matter is, he sucks. For crying out loud, the idiot can't even throw a hailmary!! I have NEVER, in ALL my years of watching football, have seen a quarterback who can't throw up a hailmary pass. His pass went out of bounds, on the sidelines!! AHAHA This is such a joke of a team that when he threw that pass I screamed laughing at how bad he is.

The defense is not good but they don't play offense. The Dolphins haven't scored a point on one of the worst teams in the league for a reason, their quarterback sucks, and so does most of the rest of the players on this dumpster fire of a team.

Landry and Jones are the only two who seem to want to play in the league at this point. The rest are just collecting pay checks...

RT has nothing to do with whether or not Campbell is our next HC....

Going from TE coach to HC might have more to do with it, Campbell is just as lost out there as every other Dolphin....

Absolutely right Rick. There is not one player on this team that we don't see making bone headed decisions or getting dumb ass penalties. Landry is great but makes bone headed decisions, Jones is great but makes bone headed decisions, Suh is great but gets drawn offsides more times than not, OV draws a 15 yard personal foul almost every game. This is a lack of disipline and that falls squarely on the coaches shoulders. If Campbell can't clean that up than we need someone who can. Tannehill is not the answer but this team needs a lot of changes both in coaching, players, and even owner as far as I'm concerned. Anyone putting this on RT's shoulders as the SOLE problem needs to learn more about Football before you make those kind of dumb statements.

And as good as they both are, they are not without fault either as seen in the way Jones carried that INT yesterday and gave it right back to the Chargers and Landry has made numerous mistakes this year mostly in the return game.

Agree. Jones was completely careless with that ball and killed all the momentum and excitement he had just generated. Stupid play by our what is by and large our best defender.

That's the sad part about this whole spit-shined turd of a team, it pretty much stinks from top to bottom! I'm definitely not a fan of Tannehill (I think he's a bit better than awful) but we only wish it was ALL HIS FAULT, then at least we'd only be looking to replace one key element to become competitive again instead of a whole freakin' football team..This WHOLE franchise is a JOKE!

Agree as well. I wish like Hell the problems were only with Tannehill. It's with the entire coaching staff and every unit.

Agree completely. No one can operate behind this bad OL. And the hits and pounding the QB take don't affect just that single play, they are residual and take a toll. Tannehill has been battling ankle and throwing arm issues. You can see it in the way he moves and throws. Like him or not, he's the toughest QB in football IMO. He had every right to be angry yesterday at the OL and the receivers.

As for Dan Campbell, I think he is done. Love his energy, his vision, and his "talk", but we're not seeing the results. Too many penalties, too many bad decisions, not enough "walk". At this point, he hasn't done enough to garner retaining the HC job. When we're getting blown out, start sitting Tannehill in the 4th qtrs and playing Logan Thomas. No point in risking further injury to Tannehill behind these shitty players.

So blow up the coaching staff, draft the best DB and LB available early, overhaul the OL. Between FA and the draft, you can absolutely find better guards and tackles than Dallas Thomas, Billy Turner, Jason Fox, and Ulrick John. Hoping Albert, Pouncey, and James can come back healthy next season. Cut Ulrick John, Dallas Thomas and Jason Fox. They are just not worth the effort.

I'm not sure about this. He can only coach. He can't play too. He can't turn avpuss-poor OL into bricks. He can't make Tannehill thrown to someone besides his man-crush Landry. He can't get Vernon to stop hitting WEbs after they throw the ball, etc. We made the mistake of letting Bowles go. We don't need another prototypical NFL head coach. We need someone different. Give him one full season. Otherwise, Ross or the other jokers will hire a friend or a "really nice guy".

When you see the same thing repeatedly game after game - penalties, mental mistakes, poor personnel grouping decisions, Jones doing returns, etc... that is on the coaches. Agree on the OL, but that's where smart coaches scheme and plan around their players short comings. I like Dan Campbell, but so far we've 2 good games from him and a lot of bad decisions during games as well. Maybe they will bring him back, but again, I'm just not seeing ANY improvement anywhere. Are you?

And, I'll say it again on the Landry targets - who else is open? Who else is (as) consistent? How long does the QB have to survey the field for alternatives? He was planted at least twice yesterday before he reach his drop back point. He took shots to the head that weren't flagged. He takes a beating every game and never a complaint. I don't care if he throws to Landry 100 times a game or not at all. It's not like anyone else is stepping up, though Parker flashed some late in the game.

Tannehill is not the biggest problem on this team. If there was this much passion to fix the O Line that has been a joke for 15 years, or the secondary which has sucked since Surtain and Madison, then we would be a playoff team. Is Tannehill an elite QB? No. He is a mid-tier QB that this team can win with. There are 12 to 15 better QBs and there are 12 to 15 worse QBs depending on how you rank them. So the biggest issue with this team is not the mid tier QB it is the bottom of the league statistics in almost every meaningful category. We are putrid in places like run defense, pass coverage, and blocking. Way worse in those spots than we are at QB play.

The you tell him his contract is going to be restructured to mid level 40 total dollars. 96 million over pay. Great. Dude sucks and team does not have faith in him. He is like Pouncey. Over paid and makes no one around him better.
