  • Jimmy Wilson on the waiver wire?

While he wasn't great, he was a LOT better than Aikens or Thomas - and he can play the slot too. We've been horrible at FS this season.....

Hell, why not?? Bringing Wilson back can be the icing on our shit-season cake! Wonder if Colombo would be willing to come back & take Fox's place....

I haven't seen KelBail21 in a while but if the Dolphins sign Wilson back he is going to freak out.

I think we're ALL way beyond the point of freaking out about ANYTHING this franchise does anymore...As Aerosmith so succinctly put it 'Our get up & go has got up & went!'...

I would take him back for the patchwork.

Probably won't happen since they are convinced in developing the Safety's we have.

Look, I'm not saying he's Kam Chancellor.....but I think he's better than Aikens or Thomas. He knows our system and would be better than what we currently have.

Alpha, my comment is more toward on how we have a dearth of talent in this team. It is frustrating to watch this regime trade or release the talented players and now we are left re-circling the Jimmy Wilson wagon.

Jake Scott and Tim Foley would also be better alternatives then the Dolphins currently have on their roster but I am not sure that certain moves would be the best for the teams morale, if there is any left.

Believe me Alpha, these comments aren't directed at you...We know where you're coming from..it's just that i think we all thought we were just circling the bowl & it ended up we're so far down the toilet that we're willing to categorize the shit being added to the pile (I know he's shit,, but he's better than the shit we already have),,,

Fins are working out Tyler Davis this week. MVP of the German AFL....

According to NFL Draft Diamonds, the Miami Dolphins will work out German Football League star Tyler Davis tomorrow, December 17. Here is a piece they did on Tyler Davis at mid season, before he was named league MVP. Davis is a 5’11 game changer who played cornerback in college. He played college football at Missouri Valley and worked out with the St. Louis Rams. Davis had an opportunity to go to the Arena League or the CFL, but decided to take a different route. He went to Germany instead because they were the first to really offer him a deal. He spent his two years in Germany

In his two years in Germany with the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes, Davis quickly made his name known playing both wide receiver, and cornerback. In helping the team reach the German quarterfinals this past year, he led the league in touchdowns with 26, while also recording six interceptions. He was also the Hurricane’s kick and punt returner.

Be funny if they fly him in thinking he's a football player and it turns out he's a European football (soccer) player!

Yeah, the Miami Dolphins really need Jimmy Wilson and to turn over every acorn they can to beat the mighty Chargers this week. AHA What a pathetic mess this team is.

We don't *need* Jimmy Wilson. We *can* put Walt "Awful" Aikens and Jamar "Toast" Taylor out there against Phillip Rivers. It might go okay......might.....

Aikens, Taylor, Wilson........it won't matter........they all suck. I guess you're saying that Wilson is the lesser of three evils, huh? I am not sure who is the best of the worst but I don't really know who's the worst of the three, possibly Taylor, so maybe you're correct about picking up any DB that is available. I guess I was just hoping that out of all the free agents that there would be a better option then Jimmy Wilson.

For those knocking kicking the tires on Tyler Davis coming from European Football - Grimes spent some time playing Euro AFL as well. Let's see how TD does.

He can't be worse than Taylor, Aikens, Thomas, Brice McCain, etc...

I don't think anyone knocked kicking the tires on the German football kid, i think everyone was moaning about the idea of bringing Jimmy Wilson back (Took us long enough to get rid of his ass first go-round!)...Hell, i'd probably throw the Davis kid out there this Sunday & have him play both ways,, would at least give me a reason to watch the game!

I was referring to M4's comment.

Hell, Lippett played both ways at Michigan State as well. Agree on putting Davis out there if Cap'n Lou can get him ready in time. We made the Bolts our bitches last season. Would love to do it again Sunday. ;-)

Oh, i didn't even see his comment...As far as i'm concerned this season seems like it's been over for about 50 years now, which is pretty appropriate, it being our 50 year anniversary and all (Man, only the Fins huh?? Take what should be a HUGE year of celebration & shit all over it!!!) You may as well scour every nook & cranny & bring in any talent you think the new regime might be able to coach up...I'm pretty sure at least half of these bums won't be wearing aqua & orange next season...
