I can only think of 14 players that "SHOULD" be back next year. That's it. I know more will be back but that's up to the next up in the air HC,GM, staff....whatever. This is my opinion based off of production, salary cap and as of now pending FAs. A COMPLETE rebuild is in order. And I actually thought we were going to the playoffs this year, SMH.

    D: Keepers
    SS: Reshad Jones
    DT: Ndamukong Suh
    DT: Jordan Phillips
    OLB: Jelani Jenkins
    CB: Bobby McCain, cheap depth

    D: Question?
DE: Cameron Wake, lack of run support, injury, age, cap hit
CB: Brent Grimes, age, cap hit, decline of play
    DE: Olivier Vernon, FA
    DE: Derrick Shelby, FA
    OLB: Dion Jordan, really

    O: Keepers
    LT: Branden Albert
    C: Mike Pouncey
    WR: DeVante Parker
    RT: Ja'Wuan James
    WR: Jarvis Landry
    RB: Jay Ajayi
    QB: Ryan Tannehill
TE: Dion Sims, cheap depth, good blocker
    WR: Kenny Stills, cheap depth

    O: Queston?
TE: Jordan Cameron, just not a fit, cap hit, drops
    WR: Rishard Matthews, FA
    RB: Lamar Miller. FA

    D: Keepers
    SS: Reshad Jones
    DT: Ndamukong Suh
    DT: Jordan Phillips
OLB: Jelani Jenkins Cut, he stinks, just happens to be the best we have, but as far as LB's, he can't tackle to save his life
    CB: Bobby McCain, cheap depth

    D: Question?
DE: Cameron Wake, lack of run support, injury, age, cap hit Cut
CB: Brent Grimes, age, cap hit, decline of play Cut, throw in the trash bin with all the other trash at the end of the season
DE: Olivier Vernon, FA I would try and sign him, he's playing well
DE: Derrick Shelby, FA Hmmmm, every now and then makes a play
    OLB: Dion Jordan, really Cut

    O: Keepers
LT: Branden Albert Pay cut or cut
C: Mike Pouncey We screwed the pooch on this guy, can't snap the ball, and that's his job
    WR: DeVante Parker
    RT: Ja'Wuan James Sucks
    WR: Jarvis Landry
RB: Jay Ajayi Can't run the ball, so why keep him
QB: Ryan Tannehill No choice at this point
TE: Dion Sims, cheap depth, good blocker sucks by the purest of definitions, cheap, but isn't a pure TE
WR: Kenny Stills, cheap depth Cut

    O: Queston?
TE: Jordan Cameron, just not a fit, cap hit, drops Cut
    WR: Rishard Matthews, FA Cut
RB: Lamar Miller. FA Sign him

Only players in my opinion that are worth keeping

    Jones
    Fat Albert
RT ??? Middle of the road QB, but better than we could get right now
    Suh
    Phillips
    OV
    Miller
    Landry

        D: Keepers
        SS: Reshad Jones - Stud
        DT: Ndamukong Suh
DT: Jordan Phillips (SPent a 2nd round pick on him, must keep for a while)
OLB: Jelani Jenkins (Too thin at LB to let him walk)

        D: Question?
DE: Cameron Wake (Injury, need to restructure his contract)
CB: Brent Grimes (He is not playing at the same level as when he signed his contact, Need to restructure or trade him, he talks too much to his wife about In House matters)
DE: Olivier Vernon, FA (Too much money)
OLB: Dion Jordan (We will see but this is more than likely a bust pick)

        O: Keepers
        LT: Branden Albert
        C: Mike Pouncey
        WR: DeVante Parker
        RT: Ja'Wuan James
        WR: Jarvis Landry
        RB: Jay Ajayi
        QB: Ryan Tannehill
        WR: Kenny Stills, cheap depth
TE - Jordan Cameron - (Best TE they have and with the correct play calls and QB, he is a stud TE)
WR/CB - Tony Lippett - I think this coaching staff is not using him properly, get him on the field on D or put him in at WR

        O: Queston?
WR: Rishard Matthews, FA (Will ask for too much money and probably take less to play for the Patriots)
RB: Lamar Miller. FA (Try signing for a hometown discount, if not, let him walk)
WR - Kenny Still (Trade if the value is good)
QB - Ryan Tannehill Probably have to keep around for another year but I would try and trade him for a #1 pick and do a real rebuild
Mike Pouncey - Trade, I don't trust him and think trading him now will get the best value out of him

This roster is a complete clusterF. Hide in your bunkers because it needs to happen.

Sorry folks, I've looked this Dolphins roster up and down this week....there's VERY LITTLE that's salvageable. Sorry!

Omar thinks Grimes is the best, but to be fair, he gets fringe bennies from Miko the Mouth

I understand the sentiment, especially right now. First, every other roster in the NFL has mostly questionable players. No one can put 53 probowlers on their roster, that's why there is a salary cap. The Patriots have a MUCH worse roster, but with a few key players and great coaching they always remain a contender, just like the Dolphins did under Shula. Last but not least, it is mathematically impossible to upgrade 39 roster spots with 7 draft picks. You would do very well indeed to get 5 players in a single draft that could contribute and would be an upgrade. If you were again very fortunate and active in free agency you might get another 5. So instead of starting with the concept of 39 first round draft picks in a single year, let's start with we can get 5 starters in the draft AND free agency combined this offseason. Which 5 do you want the most, not which 39. I would say GUARD, GUARD, LB, LB, CB. Not necessarily in that order.
