    Jarvis Landry -

Jarvis Landry went from catching 13 passes for 165 yards against the Jets in Week 12 to catching two passes for 5 yards against the Ravens Sunday.
Per Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, Landry didn’t hide his frustrations on a rough day for the Dolphins’ offense.
Citing multiple sources, Beasley wrote that Landry threw his helmet in anger on the sideline and needed several teammates to calm him down as he vented about the Dolphins’ offensive struggles.
He’s not new to angry outbursts. Before the season opener, Landry got into a fight with then-teammate LaMike James in the special-teams meeting room. Landry was also fined more than $23,000 for abusive language toward an official during a game in London earlier in the season.
All 15 Dolphins points vs. the Ravens came in a 30-second span late in the first half. The Dolphins scored on a one-play drive, a pass to DeVante Parker, then four plays later returned an interception for a touchdown. The Dolphins won, 15-13.

    Mike Pouncey -

When asked if the game plan to run the ball more might be the new blueprint to the Dolphins offense Poncey responded, "I hope so because we know the other one won't work." I am wondering if he is referring to Bil Lazor's "blueprint" or a game plan where throwing the ball won't work. I am wondering about this because I have a suspicion that Pouncey is frustrated with Tannehill and hiked those two footballs past Tannehill for safeties on purpose.

Or if perhaps Pouncey had a little something on the game?
Seriously, I highly doubt Pouncey would purposely center the ball badly on purpose. I would agree that somewhere in th translation, Pouncey is frustrated that the Dolphin passing game is not what it could..or SHOULD be.

As to Landry, the team won, albeit not due to the offense. Had they LOST, his rant would have been perhaps more acceptable. To me, at THIS point it's NOT.

      RT and Pouncey are friends....

This team, as most, can't throw, throw, throw to wins.....you must run the ball....

I was not aware that there were friends. I thought Pouncey only hung out with gangstas.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, at least not when it involves football, but that thought did cross my mind about Pouncey. Maybe it's because I don't care for him too much. I think he is a great center but I don't think he is that mature and I think he is a punk. I would love to read the news that he has been traded.

I am a Landry fan. He is one of the few players that I wanted the Dolphins to draft that they actually did. I wasn't happy to hear about this news. I understand his frustrations because as you know I how I feel about Tannehill, but there is a time and a place for Landry to express his concerns and during the game is NOT the time and definitely not the place for that. I hope he doesn't turn into a diva.

I would of done the same thing.. I think Landry's frustrations are justified and I would not be passive aggressive about it, I would let'em have it.... The Team sucks! and nobody likes to be a loser.... I would hope more players on this squad would do the same...

I just hope this tantrum doesn't start an uprising because it would not be good if ANOTHER wide receiving unit had to be replaced to find more players that fit the "strengths" of the Dolphins franchise quarterback.

Is there video of this on Landry? Was it a "we need to get out shit together" outburst or an "I'm not getting the ball outburst?" I'm all for the we need to get our shit together outburst because this team has been missing fire for a long time.

I agree with Pouncey. We don't have an elite QB and we have a good running game. Playing to our strengths now?

I can't find any video of the tantrum and I didn't bother to record the game. Here is a link to the story though.

Yeah that's about the same stuff I've already read. Doesn't say much, just that he was pissed. Thanks though.

It was a lot of speculation and based on this Beasley story where he was unhappy with the execution and focus of the offense in the ravens game - http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nf...e48492170.html

. He went off on the sideline after one of the Dolphins’ four failed first-half possessions, several sources tell the Miami Herald. Landry threw his helmet in anger, vented about the Dolphins’ lifeless offense and needed several teammates to calm him down.
Even after that, he was visibly upset for some time.
“He’s an emotional player, and sometimes when things aren’t going his way, it gets the best of him,” one Dolphins player said.
When asked about Landry’s eruption by a CBS reporter at halftime, Dan Campbell responded: “He’s a competitor and wants to win.”
Landry was not present in the locker room during the time that it was open to the media Monday. Dolphins players are off until Thursday.
Although details on what exactly set Landry off are scarce, he was simply not part of the Dolphins’ run-heavy game plan in Sunday’s win over the Ravens. Landry had just two catches for five yards, both season-lows (he caught 13 passes for 165 yards a week earlier against the Jets).
I can understand the frustration, but again - we focused on the run and we won. Everyone would have been happier if we had scored more, but it didn't happen. Our execution has been terrible. Appreciate his fire and wanting to win, but he needs to contain it. He's already hurt us several times this season with boneheaded temper tantrums drawing penalties.

Yes... he and Williams have hurt us a lot with poor field position, which affects play calling as it changes the dynamic.

Jarvis screws up when returning kicks because he's always trying to do too much, to make the BIG play..Williams is just a screw-up on kick returns (hasn't a clue what he's doing back there!) and should be nowhere near a football field,, at least where returning kicks are concerned...

With Jarvis Landry's best friend and "brother" playing against him this Sunday you can bet on the fact that Landry will have more fire then ever in this game. He will be in a secret competition with his buddy trying to prove which one of them is the best wide receiver in the game. This could get really interesting, or really ugly too. I can't wait to see which one of these guys proves which one is at the top of their game right now. I don't think it's fair right now to Landry but it will still be fun to watch.
