Some thoughts from todays game

Parker finally paid some dividends with his nice TD catch and his crucial catch on 3rd and 7 late in the game to basically allow us to run the clock out.

Those were basically the only two passes of note that Tannehill threw all day. I don't know why he struggled so much. The pass protection was decent for the most part. Are receivers not getting open or is he just not seeing them? At least he didn't hurt us with any turnovers. I still don't believe that he is our future.

OV stepped up today. Maybe we need to resign him. As long as we don't have to overpay.

Billy Turner sucks and he has replaced Dallas Thomas as the weak link of our o-line He has to be replaced. Hickey made a huge mistake trading up for him in the 2014 draft when he could have stayed put in the 3rd round and just drafted Gabe Jackson who the Raiders drafted with the pick that we used to trade up and he has emerged as one of the best young OG's in the NFL.

Bobby McCain is not a starter on the outside in the NFL. As much as Jamar Taylor stinks he is better than McCain at this stage. McCain needs to be groomed to eventually replace Brice McCain as our slot nickel corner.

they targeted mc cain because the times I saw he was at least 10-12 yrds off the receiver and that is an easy reception .
it looked like he was playing prevent defense,well maybe they told him ,just don't let anyone get behind you and with the field conditions ,maybe he was!

MILLERTIME returned. Besides that one fumble which was his first of the season Miller had a good game. It felt good to watch the Dolphins run the ball down the Crows throat. It was a great sight to see Parker go up and turn that B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L DEEP pass into a TD.

Parker's CATCH was awesome! I can't wait to see more plays from him next season when the Dolphins get a new quarterback.

Was traveling today and didn't get to watch the game. 2 good passes and a win? I'll take it over an excellent passing day and a loss anytime.

I saw a replay of the TD pass to Parker and the EOG conversion to Parker. NICE!!! Tannehill threw a great pass to him where he could use his height and speed to get it. He is going to be even better the more experience he gains.

Agree on OV. He is really stepping up since Wake went out. Wished he hadn't slept in the first half of the season.

Pass pro seems to get worse each season instead of better. Turner and Thomas are the worse starting guards in the NFL.

Bobby is a rookie and undersized. He has good instincts though and was expected to play the slot for us. He gets a pass in my opinion as he was targeted all game being a rookie, being a first time starter, and being undersized. I read he made some solid plays though.

Wish Jenkins and Grimes were both healthy. Both have been banged up all season.

That was so Miller though. He always seems to have a huge negative play whenever he's featured. A fumble, a key drop, a slip, etc...

I saw the stat line. Ajayi should have gotten more carries late in the game. He's the bigger and more powerful back. Use Miller early, Ajayi late IMO.

We should use Miller more in the passing game. He could be a big weapon. He had a very good game today. I think he was the leading rusher in the NFL today with 20 carries for 113 yards. Thank goodness his fumble didn't cost us the game.

Miller OV and Shelby all made the case today that we should resign them. I would like to have all of them back as long as we can afford them while still being able to make other roster upgrades that we need to make.

Miller's hands have always been suspect. Ajayi and Williams are the better pass catching receivers. Statline showed Miller targeted twice with 1 catch. What happened with the other?

Going to be an interesting off-season with those 3. Shelby most definitely should be back as he cheap and good.
