  • Will Ross Use The R Word In 2016?

The dreaded Rebuild has been avoided like the plague by Ross so far, as it will hurt ticket sales, etc. Will that finally change?

It is hard to say what will take place in the FO. Tannenbaum is not going anywhere but, hard to say if the same is true for Hickey and all those he hired in personnel, as well as the draft analysts.

Regardless, Our team will have a new HC, a new OC, a new DC, and all the new coaches they will bring in with them. This alone is really rebuilding.

Will they want a WCO, ZBS or something different? Will they want a 3-4 or a 4-3? Rest assured they will want "their kind of players" which we unlikely have.

So, will Ross admit to it or, sugar coat it to saying he is looking for a playoff team?

Haven't we been rebuilding for the past 20 years or so? We just never do it right and it never goes anywhere which means we have to keep repeating the same cycle.

I'm not sure it can be fixed..I mean think about it, aside from some serious success in the 70's, and even success on a lesser level in the mid 80's, this franchise has been pretty much middle of the road to lousy, making the same stupid mistakes for close to 3 decades now...Talk about depressing,, that's some depressing shit right there!!!

Not Ross. Tbaum, who is Czar/VPO.

        - Hire a HC and staff for the identity we want to have.
        - Address FAs and cut dead weight
        - Address bad contracts
        - Sign FAs that can help improve OL, DE, and LB positions
        - Draft guys who can make an impact

Now that Philbin and Coyles are gone and Ross has stepped back and handed the show over to Tbaum, everything wrong with this team can be fixed in a single off-season if done correctly.

Don't despair, Ft. L! We have been rebuilding, but we've changed from Nondescript Ball (obsolete in 21st Century NFL), to PARCELLSBALL (also obsolete in 21st Century football w/o 4 topshelf LBs, one of whom is named LAWRENCE TAYLOR), to some semblance of 21st Century Football, especially the "O". That takes time! And ...

Who cares whose fault?????!!!!! ROSS may not know much about football, but consider this: All he wants is a winner in MIAMI...and...he'll spare no effort...and...he'll spare ABSOLUTELY no expense...and...he won't cry about things (even calling games in LONDON "home games", and out-and-out failures). And on top of all that, he doesn't really "meddle", like so many Owners do. Many DOLFANS are I/m/o a bit unfair to ROSS. We could do a helluva lot worse, as Owners go.

The "rebuild", I/m/o, is almost complete. Next off-season, I would FIRST AND FOREMOST like to see MIAMI pick up TWO topshelf Gs at a minimum. Three would be super!!! I'd also like to see MIAMI pick up a topshelf MLB. If we had one, MISI would be outside where he belongs, I/m/o, while backing up at MLB. Beyond that, all I want is ONE shut-down CB.

We already have many YOUNG players who are showing promise. That's another good sign, maybe not for this season but surely for next year. We shouldn't spend massive amounts in F/A next season. And we certainly have enough "deadweight" to cut to avoid ANY sort of "cap" problem. Just give MIAMI 2 excellent Gs, a playmaker at MLB, and another one at CB, and I/m/o, SB contention will be a done deal.

4 starting caliber players: I/m/o, that's all MIAMI needs. Anything/everything else is just icing on the cake.

Good thing he doesn't live in Japan! There after all this embarrasment of the team that he leveled, the honorable thing to do is " Seppuki"!( joke)
Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.

+1 on that. He won't live in Miami, and insists on bringing in his NY mafia.
