  • Taylor Demoted.

    Per Armando:

The Miami Dolphins interim coach said Wednesday Bobby McCain is competing to start at cornerback on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The coach said McCain, a rookie, will start opposite Brent Grimes if he has a good week of practice.
That's coachspeak for Bobby McCain is starting.
That means Jamar Taylor who has struggled in recent weeks is out.
Campbell said Brice McCain will be the nickel cornerback.
I expect the rookie to struggle some, but at least he'll have a reason to. Taylor has been awful the past 3 or 4 games. Very happy we drafted this kid. Hope he succeeds. Be nice to see some more of Lippett as well, but that may be another season or two if he sticks.

If you need a good laugh:

#Dolphins CB Jamar Taylor doesn't believe he deserves demotion. He says one day when he makes Pro Bowl he hopes to look back at this & laugh

Taylor will be playing in the Pro Bowl when Tannehill is inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Yep.......coincidently the odds of that happening are exactly the same as the Miami Dolphins going undefeated again............this season. :-)

The only cornerback trait Taylor shows consistently is his ability to forget he just got burned, and forget, and forget, and forget...

i applaud dan campbell for that move.
taylors reaction is the exact problem with some of these players,he thinks he's got what it takes to be a pro bowler without having to perform at a PB level.
philbin pampered some of these guys because they where his guys, and taylor has been injured and has had a bye, sort of speak, so when it 's time to perform he didn't do it , next guy up!!!!

I thought I read somewhere that Aikens got zero snaps on defense last week.

Can we get Fox off the field?

We might as well start Bobby McCain over Jamar Taylor. Its not like we are going anywhere this year so we might as well see how well some of younger players look. I would also like to see some of Matt Hazel.

again I think this attitude of these guys thinking they're good enough come straight from philbin!
these guys went out there and failed to make play or made bad plays and they would come to the side lined and philbin would coddle them like a innocent child.
these are grown men and they need to understand if you don't do the job and do it well, you won't be making a kings wage any more and they need to fight to keep playing in the nfl,it's not a right of birth!

Taylor should count his lucky stars he was only demoted, same goes for Aikens..I actually voted they both be taken out back & shot! And please don't forget Fox, just tell him there's a holding penalty back there with his name on it....

Taylor and Brice are almost carbon copies. If they aren't injured, they're giving up play after play. Aikens has been terrible all season. Was happy Lou didn't play him at SS against the jets and hope it stays that way.

Fox has been terrible as well. Sucks that we lost James at the start of the pats game and he's been out for over a month. We need a better option for a swing tackle this off-season. If Fox isn't getting beat in pass pro, he's getting flagged for holding on running plays.

Yup..MISERY sure do love herself some company!!! Btw, though a few teams currently have as bad if not worse records than us Cleveland could very well be the only team actually worse than us right now..I think it's pretty safe to say we're both pretty much equally awful,, but i think our uniforms look better....

lol... agree. Anytime I get down on the team, I just compare us to Cleveland or Detroit.

Got to say, I sure wished we had most of the talent that Cleveland never seems to be able to utilize. Seems like they pick Top 7 every year and never improve. They can keep White Lightening though (Hartline). lol...

lol, though i actually think the Lions were starting to pull it together for a possible run at postseason; they jumped all over the Pack last night but ultimately found a way to lose (A bit of divine intervention) You're spot-on regarding the Browns, i've often wondered what we could do picking in the top 3-10 every year, sometimes multiple picks in the first 2 rounds! Probably about the same..Clevelands the exact opposite of the Pats, the Pats take our rejects & turn them into studs, whereas the Browns take our rejects & turn them into..uh..well, Browns...
