What do you say about a straight trade? Taylor flashed nicely with that INT against Carolina and he's as healthy as he's ever been (except for most recent injury). Collins is a luxury that the Cowboys might be willing to part with given that the Cowboys and Jerry Jones want to win now and the Scandrick injury is devastating. Their starting O line is set but they must find an NFL ready CB that they can rely on. Taylor might fit the bill and Collins is a guy that we obviously had interest in earlier this year. It would force us to go with Brice McCain or Zach Bowman. Would you consider it to be an equitable trade?

Collins wasn't drafted because of that mess he was caught up in, or that Jerry Jones helped setup so that he could get his man, so it will take a lot more then that for Dallas to make that trade. JMO I think the Dolphins would have to sweeten the deal by throwing in Lamar Miller or something like that. Their running game is a hot mess and Miller would do well behind that o-line. I would prefer a proven commodity to make a trade though."If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. Patton

This trade would not be in Dallas's best interest since JT (who i think could be a very good Corner IF he could ever stay healthy!) is ALWAYS hurt..Oh surprise, surprise, he's hurt again & out for a couple of weeks or so! You'd have to be a fool to trade an OLineman they obviously hold in high regard for unproven damaged goods (I know most of us think Jerry Jones is a fool, but more than likely not that big a fool..Where's Rick Spielman when you need him?!) Besides, i would think if we were looking to make a trade we'd look for a proven plug-and-play OLineman, Collins may end up being a stud but he's still a rookie and it's doubtful he could step right in and play...
Maybe Jonathan Martin will reconsider!
