  • Here's a funny thought

If Panthers go undefeated to the Super Bowl and challenge the Patriots. Would Shula and gang root for the Pats? Hehehe!!!

I think Mike Shula would be a good choice for HC if Sean Payton is unavailable..

I would still root for the Panthers. As long as its not the Pats going undefeated it won't hurt as much.

Yeah I came to the conclusion that the record should be broken as Lon as not by AFC east. I'm also tired of living in the past and only undefeated season. At least with that out of the way we can concentrated on more Lombardies!

A team with a Shula coaching going undefeated might just be what is needed to end the Shula curse in Miami.

I could live with the Panthers going undefeated. As stated, at least a Shula is coaching them. I would rather have Shula as HC then give up any draft picks for Payton. We need as many picks as we can get.

Funny, but i almost posted the exact same topic (Although i would've titled it The icing on our 50th Anniversary Nightmare Cake)

The Panthers remaining schedule very much looks as if they could run the table, obviously earning homefield advantage throughout the playoffs and realistically ending up undefeated in the Super Bowl..The Pats having lost half their team face a much tougher row to hoe,, but they are the Pats and really, how many teams in the AFC will offer them any real competition?? So yes, i can easily see the SB matchup being the undefeated Panthers vs. the hated Pats, and at least in my mind i don't think i could think of a worse way to cap off what was supposed to be an enjoyable celebration of our 50th year but has instead turned into one ongoing nightmare that unfortunately just won't end...
