After 12 weeks, we are set on the four playoff teams in Matt's Titusville Finatics (9-3), South Beach Thunder (9-3), Alpha's Aardvarks (8-4), and Shane's Carolina Sharks (8-4).

Alpha and Shane match up this week and both can get the #1 seed. The early line has Alpha favored by 7.

Then, there is Matt and myself with BA Fishey in the clash of #1 in the east vs #1 in the west. There is no love lost between these two teams after a somewhat controversial tie in their first meeting. A closer look.

Finatics have scored 1326 points on O, compared to the Thunder's 1306. The Thunder have the nod on D, giving up only 1067 to 1115. After 12 weeks of home and away, week #13 goes to the Finatics, and the guys from South Beach are not happy about having to go to Titusville but are 5-1 on the road, same as Finatics at home. The early line has the Thunder favored by 14.

Just having a bit of fun.

Can someone tell me how the playoffs work? I see where you play the same team twice, and don't know if it's wins, total points, of some combo. Can you still add/trade players or is the team locked in?

First of all SO Be this was brilliant to read! Lots of fun.

There is still one more regular season game left to play. The playoffs are 2 rounds, week 14 and week 15. I did not extend into the final week because some NFL teams will be resting players for the playoffs and it screws everything up. The top 4 teams from the entire league make the playoffs and are seeded. Week 14 which is the first round of the playoffs, #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3. The winners of those two games meet in the Championship game week #15. If you want to see the current projected playoff bracket go to the league home page, select Standings in the top menu. Then at the top of the standings page you will see a playoff bracket. The top 4 teams you mentioned are almost a dead lock. There is a microscopic chance that MIke's team Special Forces could sneak in but he would have to put up about 200 fantasy points. As it sits right now the first round puts me against the feared Carolina Sharks and you against Alpha. Let me know if you have any questions! Oh yeah I forgot...the seeding could change based on the outcome this weekend so those match-ups are up in the air still.

Do the records not matter? How can a 6-6 team still be in it with one game left and others 2 games ahead?

      Must be the Guinness. BRILLIANT!

I wonder if the Final Four would like to put a little something on the playoffs to make it more interesting.

As to you and I, and because this is a "grudge match" would you care to make a gentleman's bet of a bottle of your choice?

Almost forgot, is there a trade deadline?

I just saw your offer of a wager. I am guessing since GB is sucking so bad right now you are not interested. LOL! But if we meet in the playoffs, yeah I will go for a bottle with you.
I am game for something on the playoffs. But all four owners have to agree on what it is. Any thoughts?

Very strange game for my guys. Rodgers ends up with24 from a TD run and 60 yard Hail Mary as time expires, and Cobb recovers a fumble for a TD.

If all 4 agree, I was thinking we could chip in like $20 each or more, with 1st place getting $50 and 2nd $30 or, something like that.
