Stadium Remodel Updates

Didn't see a thread on it... I'm really excited about the remodel and looking forward to when it's all done in another year or so.

All in the presentation... ProPlayer/Sun Life/dafuq ever/ stadium needed an overhaul. Really excited about the fans being closer to the field. Looking forward to taking my son there in 2017 or 2018... he's over in Africa for the next 2 years.

I think once they get the canopy on it, it'll pay homage to the Old Orange Bowl...

Now that is a sharp looking stadium. Finally we have a real football stadium with the seats much closer to the field. Next year when the canopy goes over the stadium its going to look amazing and I think we are going to have one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. The canopy is going to keep all that crowd noise in. I think we will rival Qwest Field in Seattle as being one of the most intimidating stadiums for opponents.

I'm a little iffy on the 'spires' for each corner, but I think moving the seating closer to the field will have more effect on crowd noise for sure. Not so sure if the open canopy will do that much. If it all does combine to have an even greater effect, it'd be fantastic.

4 HD big screens are going to be placed into each corner of the upper deck next year. The canopy will have a big effect on increasing the crowd noise as the noise will reverberate back down onto the field.

Yes, it'll definitely be louder than any field we've ever had, I just don't know that it'll be as loud as Qwest or Arrowhead. Be cool if is.

It is going to be so awesome once the canopy goes on. It's going to lock in all the sound and humidity. I think we may be looking at an Orange Bowl type of advantage. My girl and I have already set it in stone that we will be at opening day 2016. Already can't wait. Might be a good game for all forum members to plan a gathering.

I have no idea, but I hope between the seats being 25' closer and then the canopy next year that it's three times as loud as the stadium was last season. Would be nice to have a real 12th man advantage.

I do wish they had brought the seats in even closer along the sidelines. I think they could have added an additional 5 rows along the sidelines and the corners.

If it were only being used for the Dolphins, probably so, but Ross and Garfinkel seem to have more uses in mind for it to help recoup revenue.

No doubt the aqua colored seats look so much better than the orange seats. My only complaint is that I still see a lot of space between the field and the seats especially along the sidelines and the corners. I think they could have easily added another 5 rows of seating which would have made it an even more intimate atmosphere. Hopefully next year when the canopy goes over the stadium that will increase the crowd noise dramatically.
