  • 2016 NFL Mock Draft - 1.0

It's never too early for a 2016 NFL mock draft, even with two months remaining in the 2015 regular season. But we will anyways.

Mad Early I know....it was for our other site

but take a look and let me know what you think

Also - Dolphins select Vernon Hargroves - legit CB The Dolphins could go in a few directions here. They need someone that can replace Cameron Wake, but Bosa is off the board. Vernon is the best Cornerback in the draft and Brent Grimes isn’t getting any younger. With an $8 million cap hit, they need a starting cornerback to eventually replace him. Let alone a corner to start opposite him. Vernon comes in and locks down the left side of the field.

Brov, lay off the Kalik when you do these things...that shiat screws your head up...

As much as I think Hargreaves is a good corner, I think Miami has cornered the market on 5'10" and under corners. Yes I know he's listed at 5'11" but I think he is going to measure in under that. With your draft if Ramesy is not there then I am looking at Jaylon Smith or Shaq Lawson and going DB in round two.

You have Billings going #1 overall? Brov, I don't even have him listed in my top 10, I think that is a HUGE reach. If Detroit picks 1st I think they would be looking at OT and not DT.

I am just busting your chops Brov, it's very early and no telling how it all shakes out.

When it comes to the 2016 Miami Dolphins NFL debacle...I mean disaster...I mean draft, refer back to the 2015 Draft post and threads. Surprisingly, nothing has changed. CB, OL, MLB, OLB, OL, DE, S and FB (after Lazor gets the Axe).

        What up brov!

Good to hear from you! How is poppa life? The two boys must be getting big!

        Constructive criticism....love it

Especially from you. This was just my first draft, and I only started researching this request, this past week....like you said, it way to early to see how it breaks down. I really Hargroves. He plays with passion and from what I saw on the limited game tape, he's a great bump and run corner.

Pappa life is great...boys are growing like weeds. My 4 year old is wearing 5/6 clothes (tall and thin) and my 18 month old has been wearing 2T for two months (he's just a monster). The oldest has been asking to play football for 6 months now, trying to hold him off another year, so distracting him with soccer and T Ball. The youngest one is built like a LB but he's left handed so going to push baseball as much as I can...lol

I really want to hear your breakdown of the top corners in the draft. I understand I am somewhat biased, but I think Ramsey is the top DB in the draft. I list him as a DB as I think he could be a top 12 CB, but a top 3 FS in the NFL. I like Hargreaves, and love how he competes, I just want a bigger CB. I think there are going to be some good starting caliber CB's in rounds 2-3.

Most definitely my friend. I have already started and will be posting an analysis after bowl season. Ramsey is the top CB of this draft class, unless we lose out, i doubt there will be a chance we can grab....unless he smokes weed

          11-13 range is probably right.

For the 1st round, I'd be happy to get any one of these in one of those slots if they aren't already taken: Bosa will be gone in the Top 10. JSmith and VHargroves likely are as well, but they aren't sure things.

          LB - Jaylon Smith
          DE - Lawson / Nassib / Oakman
CB - Vernon Hargroves / Mackensie Alexander
          S - Jalen Ramsey

What up brov! Bosa reminds me of young Mario Williams. Love his speed off the edge. But he is using his speed with the bull rush and swim moves. He's likely a top 5 pick

Jaylon Smith would be my first choice of LB off the board and potentially fits well on where we could potentially draft...unless we win out

Hey Bahamas. I'm pretty sure I congratulated you but I wanted to give you some advice months ago before my son took over the computer and I forgot but I'm pretty sure it was do NOT let your little one sleep in the same bed.

As far as the draft goes I'm all for a CB or MLB in the 1st. My dream draft as of now would be Jaylon Smith in the 1st and Kendall Fuller in the second if he drops which I doubt. Still haven't tried the Kalik.

What up brov! good to hear from you. We are keeping lil Makaio in his crib. Definitely appreciate the advise.

it's a perfect Saturday to start drinking Kalik....or better yet - keep it for tomorrow when we beat down Dallas

As per the draft, we need to revitalize our D. Jenkins, jones, suh, are all keepers...all other positions are up for grabs. I agree with your combo LB or CB BPA

Hate to rain on this Mon but, where are we drafting, who is the coach, who are we moving, which FA's are we interested in, and what scheme is he putting in?

Yeah, way too early but, have fun.

Outside of Campbell - who is the coach you want us to get?

I would love for the Dolphins to draft Vernon Hargreaves but I don't think he is going to be available when we select. I would also be very happy with Jaylon Smith but I also think he is going to be off the board when we select. I think we will be selecting in the mid to high teens. Here is a realistic mock draft that I would like.

Round 1 DE Emmanuel Ogbah - Oklahoma State. With OV and Shelby being free agents and we are likely to release Wake, the only DE who is certain to return next year is Fede so DE might be our most pressing need.

Round 2 DB Cameron Sutton - Tennessee. I think Grimes will be released and so he will need to be replaced.

Round 3 LB Cassanova McKinzy - Auburn. We have to upgrade our LB corps especially ILB.

Round 4 FS AJ Stamps - Kentucky. We need upgrades and depth in our secondary.

Round 5 RB Tra Carson - Texas A&M. We could use a physical RB.

Round 6 LB Torrodney Prevot - Oregon. Some depth for our LB corps.

Round 7 QB Nate Sudfeld - Indiana. We groom a young QB behind Tannehill.

I would use free agcney to focus on upgrading our o-line. We need at least one starting OG and a better backup OT than Jason Fox.

Welcome back Bahamas. Surprised that several want "a Bosa" for Miami. I dont recall the Dad working out too well for us. Regarding the draft, i think we dont have enough draft picks to cover the new starters and depth we need to overcome our inept leadership.i do believe that a CB is somewhere near the top of the list, but like Nole, i think we have to get bigger/taller back there. Right now, without having studied any players i would rank an LB as our greatest need on D. We still cant stop a TE, despite line upgrades we still cant stop the run.....sounds to me like a job for one of the many UberStud LBs coming out of college these days.

LOL, are you saying you have no faith in our kicker or are you saying that's about the only position not mentioned?
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

A little of both. Im not sure if its players or coaching with this team, Probably a little of both there also. I say we will know a bit more by the end of the season but this O line needs to be addressed!
