first, a win is a win no matter how it comes. That being said, there are many trends I keep seeing and wish coaching would correct.

    1. Lazar needs to prepare RT with better blitz plays. It's not that difficult to design a few plays and wrinkles to prevent RT from getting crushed. ie, use a 2 TE set, and the TE that does NOT see a rush or a blitz, step forward a yard or 2 to clearly open space where the LB's have blitzed from and turn around and catch a pass. This is blitz prevention 101, and a play I learned back in Jr High. Another is to swing your RB outside, again he may or not get the first down but the offense won't lose 10 yards! This is a Patriots staple.

    2. Can't this team find a speedy, playmaker to handle returns? And not Landry! Again, this is football101.

    3. Teach the LB's proper pass coverage. TE's and crossing patterns.
    4. The RB swing pass on non blitzing downs shouldn't be run more than once or twice a game. NOT 10+
    5. What happened to the TE's on this team? Seam routes and cross patterns are killers in the NFL, but for some reason this team has forgotten about the TE's.

Last one, this team has some players with ZERO football IQ and it's keeping the team from achieving success. Stupid, stupid plays. Attempting to catch a kickoff 6 yards deep and run it out. Not catching a punt at the 10, calling a long to develop deep passing play from your own 1 yard line. Talking trash and flicking the football at opposing players,

We need to have more 20 yd hook routes and come back for an RT roll out... Also, we need to pound the ball up gut in the 1st and 2nd qtr to where out the D and open up the air game.. We should of brought Ted Ginn back just for ST's... We need help in a bad way..

ST's have been killing our starting LOS

The rest is Lazor 001, which is still far behind 101.....

i like lazor but his offense SUCKS as far a i see it, which is half the problem with to offense and the offensive line.he runs plays that put max pressure on the line to perform well instead of plays that relieve some pressure on the line, and tannehill to stand there and wait for a sack instead of playing to his strengths!

I totally agree, we need to run more of those routes that Hartline ran so well in Sherman's offense. Tannehill was effective at those, but we don't seem to run them anymore. I also agree that we need a real return specialist with speed. Ginn is ideally suited to be a return specialist and your #4 or #5 WR.

How bad is this season when we're advocating bringing back Ted Ginn. Let's bring his family back while we're at it. I agree we need a better return guy but please not Turd Ginn.
          Can we sign this guy?

Can he return kicks? I'd rather have him doing it than Ted Ginn. I have never seen such a vagina in the NFL. The guy ducked out of bounds or dove to the ground every chance he could. No heart.

Campbell not stepping in and changing from the reach blocks to down blocking with the OG pulling out in front on certain plays makes me lose confidence in his ability to make necessary adjustments. How can RG Billy Turner possibly get out in front and block the DT lined up on his outside shoulder on that quick toss sweep. The DL makes the tackle behind the line of scrimmage every time. Allowing the spread formation on our last play of the half from the 1 was sad. He may look like Bill Cowher but that looked more like Dan Coward. I've moaned forever that Tannehill has to take his required number of steps on every play like a robot even when the defense is sending the whole front seven after him. The play almost always ends in a sack, a batted ball or his patented "back and to the right" exit and a long overthrow out of bounds. All out blitzes are opportunities to scorch teams for big plays on hot routes. I've never seen RT snap out of his drop and hit a hot receiver or loft one over to the RB curling up out of the backfield The Detroit game last year stands out in my mind. There were a number of times where it was obvious they were coming and we had easy huge plays but Tannehill seemed to have no idea it was coming which led to batted passes by DL and sacks. Glad to see Campbell getting young guys on the field to see what they have. Hoping Lippett and Hull back up my big talk. Remember Christion Jones? He was the best return man in the game his senior year at Alabama and took one back for 106 in the pre-season. Anxious to see a lot more of Jay Ajayi. Let's stop the excuse that it's his pass blocking. Lamar Miller is completely lost on pass pro and rarely seems to find the right guy to hit. Ndamukong and Reshad Jones should be team captains; They are playmakers and give 100% all the time. Those are the guys you follow. Tannehill stunk against Philly. Devante Parker? Parker? Parker? Buehler?
