  • Who is this guy?!?!

Who is this guy and what has he done with Dan Campbell? Definitely not the same guy we saw his first two weeks. Is it the pressure of trying to win the job? Does he feel like he's in over his head? Where's the fun he preached the first two weeks?
    Can we sign this guy?

to me ,it looks and feels like he had something else on his mind and at times like he had to double think what he was saying because he kind of lost his though and had to double back and get back on track with what he was trying to say.
but I like how he answers the question with some meat, unlike philbin who told you nothing and I couldn't stand his PC's and him just talking BS to us!

I agree with the substance compared to Philbin but the fire and intensity and passion are just gone.

it's obvious if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.. DC is sweating and is having a tough time... He's not ready for this type of responsibility...

I think he's realized he's in over his head with this team...Kinda like the captain of the Titanic did when the water was over his knees....

Campbell knows that things have gotten REAL, he won't be a TE coach again, if his career is to move forward. He realizes that he is pretty much STUCK with what Philbin and company created, and is trying to make it work! He's been HC for less than 6 weeks now, which means about half a dozen full-pad practices. There is no way he was ready for Bellichick and Rex on the road the last two weeks! I want to see what he can do with the team AFTER those harsh defeats!

We're right back to the same old Lazor, Tannehill two step, two cent offense. It tells me Campbell is as lost as clueless Joe Philbin. It doesnt work. Tannehill doesnt work within it. Just run the ball. No pass patterns under 8 yards. No spread formations when we need 1 yard. Idiots leading idiots.

Remember we still have the same OC and playbook. And it would be very difficult to change that between games in the regular season. If this offensive scheme sucks or just can't be executed by our players it should have been changed as soon as last season was over. Now, we are just stuck with it with maybe some minor wrinkles or tendency changes. But it will still be the same offense no matter who is coaching or coordinating. Many think it's a real problem to change playbooks and coordinators in 1 off-season. Sort of accepting you are going to struggle the first half of the next season, even after OTAs, mini-camp, training camp and preseason. There is no way you put in a new offense between Tuesday and Wednesday this week!

yes but the play calling is not coming up with that right play at the critical time.and actually the play calling has done the opposite.today 3rd an long and it's a critical time in the 4th quarter and you know they are coming for tannehill and lazor puts him in the pocket waiting to get sacked ,now that was a BRILLIANT call and one they can be proud of ,RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the same calls that lazor has called time after time, even when philbin was running the show!!!!

Agreed... Lazor is pretty predictable and it's apparent that he gives Tannehill kill options and hot reads rather than read audibles or adjustments to whatever playcall Lazor has made. Regardless, opposing defenses are all over what is given to Tannehill. The playcalling is annoying and lack of use of Tannehill's mobility, a strong asset, is largely ignored. Chip Kelly had Bradford on designed rollouts a lot of the day. We saw 2 from Lazor. SMDH.
