In 1970 I was in the 7th grade in Dade county. During the 2nd half of the year, one of my classroom teachers (not a coach) was a football player for the Miami Dolphins named Larry Little. In those days even an All Pro, future Hall of Famer was only making $16,000 a year for playing in the NFL. So he was moonlighting in the off-season. The next year I started following the Dolphins to watch "Mr. Little" play football. Been hooked ever since. Whole family has been. Many of the next generation named after Dolphin players and always Dolphins gear worn at every family gathering. Got a little spoiled watching them go to a Superbowl in each of the first 3 years as a fan.
