Does anybody feel good about the upcoming season for the Canes? I just have a really bad feeling that it's going to go really bad. I think he has lost the team and I think his loyalty to Donofrio is going to hurt him. Seems like a lame duck year to me.Can we sign this guy?👍 1 -
It could get ugly. You only manage 6-7 last year, and then lose Duke Johnson, Phillip Dorsett, Clive Walford, and Denzel Perryman? Doesn't bode well.

The media down here isn't very optimistic because of the talent lost to the NFL. All think Kaya is going to do well, but unless some unknown Freshmen suddenly step up it could be bad.👍 1Comment

I think this is the year actually that is starts to come together. I like the young QB and we still have some good talent on the line. Recruiting has improved. I am not sure the record is a lot better, maybe a win or two more. But I do think we win a big game including FSU maybe another later as we come together. Next years recruiting class is strong. So I see this as Golden's second run at getting better. I do agree that if we are noticeably worse than it is over for Al Golden.Comment

I think is is absolutely their best shot to beat FSU in a long time. The Seminoles lost 11 players to the draft this season, and unlike the past few years, we play them early in the year, as our conference opener. With that much turnover, it's going to take time for them to find their footing, whereas our roster is a lot more stable. The biggest hole to fill was obviously Duke Johnson, but Joe Yearby looked solid in a fair amount of playing time last year, so it shouldn't take long at all for him to get up to speed. I think Kaaya's the real deal, which will go a long way towards making up for lost weapons. If it's a perfect throw, it doesn't much matter who it's going to. But I just don't know if it's enough to overcome really poor defensive coaching.

Funny I am watching ESPN GameDay and they were discussing Notre Dame this year. They commented that the starting QB won the job because Golson turned the ball over so often. He will get some of the best coaching in college football form Jimbo Fisher and that FSU staff. Miami lost too many star players (13) to the NFL.Comment
